I should hook that up to my Amiga with my Tripleplay plus and control Octamed with that. How weird would that be. 😜

btw if this machine add a slider like the OT to use the scenes to resmpale a full groove meanwhile recording something different and do a whole set like that, it would be an instant buy

Thoroughly enjoying the mkii after the recent update. Looper is ez/ The new synth engine allows you to create sounds from scratch. Just found your channel! Think last time I saw you was lunch over some Indian food. - ras dude

I love the gentle drive of a bluesbreaker on a guitar, like the JHS morning glory. A RAT is just too much. Add a chorus + delay with a bluesbreaker and magic on a synth!

I'm pretty sure the 1010 nanobox tangerine will do this workflow. Tangerine is essentially a Blackbox lite. I doesn't do granular or piano roll and it only has 8 sample pads vs 16 on the Blackbox. Tangerine has improved DACs though.

love love distortion spend ages adding grit to my music. That Pack Rat pedal is ace - my pro-1 sounds wicked through it! Other faves are decapitator, Klevgrand cassette can also do some nice things , Noise Engineering Runia plugin is good for weird arse stuff & if you want to go full "Low" (on their last two albums) the box of metal pedal is really good ;-) shout out too to Unusual EAS from blackskycraft for gritty reverb that can go nicely into distorted spaces.......

I've realised that overdrive pedals are my ballpark, over distortion or fuzz. They give the original sound plenty of grit and fizz, without carving off too much of the soundwave. The Catlinbread Plumes (basically, an expanded Tube Screamer) is one I'm currently looking out for, which seems to do a great job on synth and drum machines.

I think a lot of distortion on the kick is fun while jamming, but it is a bit to much when listening to it. Compression alone is already sounds good to me

I like targeted distortion. By that, I mean just the snare or a singular instrument. Otherwise, everything gets muddy. Also, analog tube distortion when possible.
