    Nope. No help to me. Why? Because my door does not have any/those sensors and neither do any of my neighbour's doors. Checked pretty much everything and STILL my garage door continues to go back up automatically after it stops coming down to ground level. 🤨

    Can you help me figure this out. For some reason I cannot completely turn off the water to the tank. When I turn it all the way off, it still pumps water to the valve. Any idea why? Thanks in advance.

    Hello Mike. My problem is my door (the second type with tracks at the bottom) is off and I can not replace it in the tracks. Is there a trick ? Thank you!

  • @MikeKlimek
    @MikeKlimek4 күн бұрын

    There really isn't a trick although they can be large and cumbersome. A helper might do the trick. Also check to see that the wheels are in good shape and roll.

    This can be one of the most frustrating tasks. I have reviewed many videos on this, and I found one that says you need to check the thickness of the roller hinges. The two thinnest go on the back panel. There was a very fine difference in the thickness, but that solved my problem. Another tip is you can, in some cases, start by putting the roller in the track and then screwing the hinge into the door. You will need someone or something to help you hold the door up while doing it

    You are a Life Saver! Wow.... I was dealing with the tank not filling time and time again, I would lift the top then jiggle the valve handle and sometimes it would fill, others I used a large sauce pan full of water lol... till I found your video and yes my orig is a Fluidmaster so it was Easy as Pie. My life is better now and I no longer dread heading to the bathroom late at night cursing and making loud noises with the tank cover. YOU ROCK! took all of 2 mins for me. no leaks

    Well it let me record a video that I thought it was going to post as a reply to my original comment, but I have no idea where it went. Lol it’s basically just a standard to handle Fossett, looking close to the one in your video at the very and but with different knives, it’s like a post that goes through from the top down to the base of the faucet and the whole thing just pulls out sticks and snug in there where it doesn’t pull off every single time, primarily just when I’m cleaning it but it’s still annoying and I’ve almost lost the bolt that goes through it multiple times

    A whole ball of toilet paper is stuck pretty far into the toilet that my plunger can’t reach, but it’s late at night and that’s all I have

  • @MikeKlimek
    @MikeKlimek11 күн бұрын

    You can probably get it with the plunger (just make sure the plunger is full of water and not air), or go with a toilet auger.

    Replaced the flapper. Toilet still runs every 2 mins. Replaced the fill valve with a new Fluidmaster. Toilet still runs every 2 mins. What the heck is going on?

  • @MikeKlimek
    @MikeKlimek11 күн бұрын

    I suspect that you either have a crack on the tank or most likely, you need to replace the flush valve (the part the flapper sits on). The water in the tank is draining into the bowl which causes the fill valve to turn on. You can test this by either turning off the valve at the wall and watch the water level in the tank drop, or add some dye in the tank and see if the water in the bowl turns color.
