I was wondering too, I think you can see it on the bottom left! For the sketches/thumbnails, it looks like it's 2500x1475px In the final rendering phase, the canvas is 7000x4130px (300ppi)

This looks absolutely stunning, Im sure you get a million questions about your artwork, but just wondering are you self taught or school. I am thinking of attending a university, but something back of my mind telling me it would be a waste of money that I should try to learn on my own. I would love to get your opinion.

he was a traditional artist at first when he was young (self taught). he then graduated with a major in visual design and during his college years he taught himself digital art, which came easy for him since he already had a foundation in traditional art. Im not bo chen, but imo going to an art school is a waste from a financial point of view and you are better off going self taught route. Btw, I got this information from an interview of bo chen from schoolism - I highly recommend watch the whole thing if ur interested in him and his entire work process!

On average how much time is an illustrator (a new average good one, not an art got with 15+ years of professional experience) expected to produce an illustration like a splash art or a book cover for example? It would be of great help if you could answer 😁

the amount of time depends on if you are working on a personal piece or a piece for a client. Personal pieces are straightforward where you decide when you consider it done. however, splash arts for riot for example follow a more complicated and strict process where it won't be just one person working on it (if you include researching, drafts, getting feedback and producing the final design) so its hard to estimate the number of hours but it can take over a month for something like this. time for client works vary a lot as it depends on which company you work for or if u do freelancing and most importantly who the client is.
