Zoom produces a wide array of recording devices, including a line of portable "handy" recorders as well as multi-effects processors, effects pedals, drum machines and samplers. Over the past thirty years, the company has established a solid reputation as a manufacturer of innovative yet affordable products that are based on original microchip designs.
Founded in 1983 and based in Tokyo, Japan, the Zoom Corporation spent its first years helping other manufacturers develop sound generator LSI, rhythm machines and MIDI synchronizer systems.
In 2013, the third-generation H6 Handy Recorder was announced-a six-track recorder which offers a slew of advanced features, including a system of interchangeable input capsules that can be swapped out as easily as the lenses of a camera.
In the summer of 2013, Zoom North America was formed. The first product to be distributed by ZNA is the groundbreaking H6 Handy Recorder.

Really very poor image quality in low light situatios. Preciselly like musical events, or other theater performances usually are. So "vivid video quality, no matter the situation" is an overstatement. About Bluetooth control. With Android you don't have control of the levels, as stated. Worts is that the app and the device become disconnected as soon as you leave the App or simply send it to the background to access any other application, if you pick a phone call, if you access other app from a notification... You have to phisically walt to the camera and go thorugh all the connecting process again. This is the most unusual way of using Bluetooth I've found. Without being able to permanently pair the devices, you need a phone to use solely as a remote control through all the time you plan to use the camera. Very unpractical for recording events, maybe good enough to just sit in front of the camera and press REC.
Been looking for a multitrack & that Interface is too choppy
Is the low cut filter in the digital domain or analogue? If in the digital domain then I wonder at the point - as I can always filter in post production. It's just throwing away data that the ADC had to capture anyway. If in the analogue domain then it protects the ADC and its input circuitry so is useful.
A demo video without any audio of the device? I’ll keep looking.
i'd really like to have a quick feedback if possible; i'm about to buy this product and my question is: i have logic pro x; is it possible to record directly on my software 4 simultaneous microphones and each input separately? how to setup this; thanks

THANK you for your video ..... Do you think it is possible to raise the INPUT LEVELS (Gain Levels) , somehow ? (i am not talking about the output levels which can be adjusted) Thank you for your time.
Got my H6e today🍺🍺
please , what is the software work with zoom h8 , in windows pc? Question from iraq
Audio sounds a bit thick to me
MOre of that song please
what the difference between the ZSG-1 vs the M3 mictrak
So, does this work the same way, when you've recorded using the 1/2 line inputs (recording a Synthesizer/Keyboard for example) instead of recording with the microphones?
Can we use the H8 to bring in a 2nd line out of our microphones into the H8, then send out one XLR signal out to our L20 in channel 15 for example. This channel we could use for a talk back for everyone with in ear. Thanks for any insight to this.
The AMS-22 can't be powered by the very capable iPhone? The interface isn't battery-capable, so how is portability a selling point if we need to carry around a power bank and adapter?
How far can you remotely control the H4 using an iPhone?
Podcast ok but for singing no perfect for children
Can you still play a background track using "Share Computer Sound" on the Zoom videoconferencing platform while using the Zoom streaming/vocal processing device for microphone vocals?
Can you save the settings to automatically export in a certain setting or do you have to do this for every track?
Hey if you don't mind me asking, what SD card did you end up using? And what size? Is 128GB enough to record 2 hr long rehearsals with 20 inputs? Thank you!!
This is a very good pedal. Forget the reviews that say it's ugly or hard to use. don't judge the pedal based on sample patches. I recommend the fender or vox + a distortion to get you started regardless of your style. It's as simple to setup patches as previous series like g3 or g3n/g5n, maybe even more so because of how you can scroll vertically or left right. If you aim to have something simple that is useful for both recording and your local gigs (it can work with USB power bank)- this is it. I can place it on my desktop or on the floor. And yes- the arrow buttons are foot operable (unless you have very big shoes). I prefer the g3n design for the position of them, but these are still very usable to change patches. You can see the effects while sitting in a chair. Do I wish it were a slightly bigger screen? Yes, but it's just 3 effects that you can switch on/off so this will do I wish it had per patch volume. The master volume and EQ are super useful. I like this pedal a lot and I think it's very practical for an average gigging musician
I really wish the uac-432 hadn't been cancelled. Bad move by zoom.
When i want to add an effect i press add, but how do i scroll through the effect categories? I hold down the blue triangle but cant get it to scroll through the effects? What am i missing?
So I can't power it with my pedal power supply? I heard it can be powered with AC power? DC 9V standard no?
Have this pedal for many years now and still sounds great.. Just want to ask if I need a DI box if I want to connect directly in a PA system?
I swore i heard that lick when you were in front of Millbrook Antiques a few years ago.. or was that the song " Free" ? 🤔🤔💯💯👍
Help please...I purchased a q2n4k...and have couple questions...as a guitarist recording clips of original material I need a secondary video monitor so i can see image as im performing,if i only have camera monitor i have to move out of frame to see.Am I correct in assuming this is achieved with a HDMI CONNECTION/CABLE? Which brings me to my next question...i recieved two cables with my camera, one is the USB connection, and I assumed the other was a HDMI cable but this cable will NOT connect anywhere on the camera.
Does anyone lnow if I can download the driver onto a memory stick and then transfer to my computer?
Is Bluetooth app coming to Android?
Which one would you recommend and it's better than the other, behringer flow 8 vs zoom livetrak L-8
When I press record / play nothing happens. The buttons don't even light up red/green like they do in this video. 😢
I have been using Zoom effects for literally 20 years. Currently I have two G5s and two G11s. Putting aside the Voltron aesthetic on the G11 for a moment, Zoom did a great job with the interface, but I remain very disappointed by the lack of features it should have for a flagship processor in this price class. For example, I was shocked to find out that the G11 cannot have two amps in parallel in an effects chain. This is something that processors like the Boss GT-100 was able to do 10 years ago. That is a huge issue, especially for the price of the G11. The effects are good, however the amp models do not give the impression that any are superior to the amp models on the older G5. The amp models sound good, but are no better (and even worse in some cases) than the G5's amp models. Also, why did Zoom remove the Z-Pedal? That was a very unique, trademark feature for Zoom processors and I found it to be very useful. Finally, the DSP power on the G11 is not nearly as capable as would be expected on a product like the G11. I do like the G11, but I wish Zoom would support the product better. They introduce innovative products, and shortly after usually just abandon them. You might get one firmware update, and that's it. The G11's latest firmware was introduced nearly three years ago! Come on Zoom, you can do much better.
OMG. This thing is stupendously lame. I thought it was a multi-effects pedal. It’s just a bunch of “drives.” What a joke. 😂
Is it just me or can i not overdub on this lol
Just fix that battery door and you have a winner! I'm one of the many people who need to use it with a ziptie.
What's added with this update?
Hola, i need replace the LCD display of Zoom H6, where can i get it? Im from Argentina
Some information about please🙏
I love Zoom recorders. The H4n Pro is my favourite!👍
Can anyone remember the time before Zoom recorders? These things have saved me so many times!
I LOVE these Zoom recorders!👍👍
Is there anyway you guys could consider adding audible cues to this thing? If it beeps at us to tell us, it’s ready to be powered off for example, that would be a huge help. I don’t have one yet, but it’s on my purchase list, and considering I have no vision whatsoever, I really wouldn’t want to blow it up on day one.
Does it apply to the H4Pro?
No.
@@miqul76 thanks for clearing that up
Is H1essential already on the market? I didn’t find it for sale in Belarus
I think I know the answer, but... I have a BTA-1 I use with my Zoom F3. If I wanted to record an event using both the F3 and H4/6essential, could I set up timecode in one recorder, then move the BTA-1 over to set up the other recorder? ... or would I need a second BTA-1 if I wanted timecode going on both devices simultaneously?
Thanks for the video, I'm sold!
Mine wouldn't update using this tutorial. I looked at another video, and it said to hold the play button while turning it on, and this made it work. I hope that this helps anyone having trouble updating.
Can’t wait til mines arrive
Ok I upgraded to firmware to 1.10 and lost my 4k capabilities, anyone got any suggestions. I don't use the 4k much, but will in the future.
Anyone know what song is being played on the guitar?
