Thumbs up. Ya got a point. Another interesting thing about the bible (which he claims to support) . . . it says *BE CONTENT WITH SUCH THINGS AS YE HAVE. Hebrews 13:5* How do you reconcile working hard with that ????? Other parts of the bible mention diligence which means hard work. Go figure. Usually folks work hard when they are NOT content. Or they have an overpowering sense of purpose or a mission. If i understood all of that . . . i'd also be wealthy. The bible doesn't despise wealth. It only warns us not to love it.

@@piehound Protestants killed other Protestants over biblical interpretations ... meaning that it is not SAFE to take words from that supposed HOLY book as being literal truth. And had Jesus been real ... the bible would be HIS autobiography. Yet not anywhere on earth does any Christian have a signature by Jesus ... the one that was supposed to be the most intelligent man of "letters" ... in an era when ONLY handwriting existed. There is something SO "fishy" about that myth ... that even children could spot the inconsistencies ... IF the children were taught to ask questions of their parents' indoctrinations. Observe WHO wrote the bible ... which didn't have anything in common with what Jesus supposedly said. Note how it states "over a period of 1500 years" which means that those men that wrote the bible ... were NOT listening to any voice of a man named Jesus. The men that wrote the bible … were even on different continents. From the book “Smith’s Bible Dictionary. Bible There are at least thirty six different authors, who wrote in three continents, in many countries, in three languages, and from every possible human standpoint. Among these authors were kings, farmers, mechanics, scientific men, lawyers, generals, fishermen, ministers and priests, a tax-collector, a doctor, some rich, some poor, some city bred, some country born-thus touching all the experiences of men-extending over 1500 years.

I've found that usually when someone is doing something or a situation is making me upset, I have to stop and search myself to see if I've done similar things in the past or if I'm just perceiving the situation in a stressful manner and usually that's the case. Children are often a very good mirror. Even if you haven't found an example of you doing the same, looking at it as, well I'm grateful I'm not as pathological and grateful for this opportunity to behave in a way that can make things better rather that worse.

❤ I truly feel your frustration... I feel the same way about witnessing a certain human being,, who by all outer appearances,, has it all together,, and even moreso than compared to the average human being... And when I dare to think or say how extraordinaire this person could be the best 'gift' that Canada has ever recieved, in light of 'political sovereignty' and 'leadership' of a falling country... I can only look on with a sense of 'stupidity',,, as I settle for a simple appeasement of wasting time with more 'lip' service on a KZread video,, whereas one could be making a 'real' difference for Canada,, and maybe the world as a whole,,, 10-4?...

I no longer follow Peterson's teachings. In Christian thought, true strength is often seen not in one’s capacity to harm (or deter harm through the threat of reciprocal action), but in one's capacity to do good in the face of evil, to forgive, and to show grace. This is considered not naive, but a profound understanding of God's will and a deeper reflection of God's character, as shown in Romans 12:21: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

It's weird living in group homes cause you're surrounded by people who are equally as lazy and we all live together with a mutual agreement to be as lazy as possible. While it's fun I do enjoy listening to the other side of those people who "hustle" and I've been both and yes being the one who hustles is always more fun and but the laziness is more realistic.
