LOVE the details of the Japanese armor and it has potential to have amazing gameplay. DO NOT like the character designs though. too western. though the black samurai's design is among the better ones, the female's jawline is sharper than her kunai and her face is stretched just too wide for my liking. i prefer the Japanese and Koreans way of designing their game characters.

The problem isnt that the character is black... but the entire point of AC is to be an assassin and blend into their setting. He's going to STAND OUT, kinda misses the entire point. Plus Actual Japanese gamers who ACTUALLY PLAY AC (unlike you) are upsset that finally they get a AC game in their country, but cannot resotate with the male character. But a Huge Cool Black Samurai in Japan will stick out as an "assassin". Just sucks for male Japanese players who wanted their own cool assassin to resonate with.

I think they are just waiting on the switch console to release and be one of the first old school RPGs on it. I will promote Suikoden over Eiyuden any day. Suikoden is much much better. Eiyuden is mashing old and new school by taking the worst of both aspects.

Not sure why I keep seeing videos like this. Some of your points are valid, but A LOT less people have PS5's right now. PS4's were cheap and easy to come by when Remake released and most gamers already had one. I also have to ask, do you know Square has recently partnered with XBOX? Do you know who produced FF10? Do you know who produced FF7 Original? Do you know who produced FF7 Remake? Check it out.

I can find a photo showing that the ingame model looks just like the actress in less than 5 minutes, I mean, the actress has the "Star Wars Outlaws" logo behind her in the photo. Yet here you are, agreeing with another commenter that somehow "she doesn't even look human" or whatever. Look man, I'm not gonna dump on your taste in women, everybody has different tastes, that's normal... But the game's protagonist is neither ugly nor is she unattractive... unless you're somebody who really doesn't like 1980's Ripley/Sarah Connor hair. Calling her ugly makes me wonder what your standards for female protagonists in video games are. Are only supermodels with perfect make up, big boobs, big butts, skimpy outfits and jiggle physics allowed? Is that the thing? If it is, then you might want to consider going outside more often. Sure, the Outlaws protagonist is not a super model but that doesn't make her unattractive.
This is a sequel game with a heavy emphasis on narrative. Having projected sales being higher than the previous installment is kind of dumb and unintuitive. You have to have cleared the first game to have an interest in the second one, now think of all the people who played remake but didn’t finish or haven’t gotten around to or just downright didn’t like the game. How are these people going to return? Even further, how are you going to get MORE sales than the previous installment? Like, say EVERYONE that played the first bought the second, but then where are the increased sales coming from? Returning players buying dupes? Completely clueless trend-followers just trying the latest thing? Like what was the plan?
