  There is no such thing as justice system in Australia. Too easy and lenient on all levels, that is why crime continues as they know, there is no justice or they can walk away with no harsh punishment

  Why would they even offer the monster a plea deal when it's such a solid case against him for premeditated murder? The family should have said no, and go to trial because he would have been convicted to the fullest. I think prosecutors offer everyone plea deals because they're lazy. The more plea deals are accepted, the less work they have to do.

  Terrible and vicious and seems so the "justice" meted out. Such horrendous crimes. People lost their lives and futures and so did the families of these brutal murderers. I know it won't bring these lovely people back but life sentences absolutely without parole. It's shows there's real consequences for the severe crimes you commit. The HAS to be deterant too! Rest in Peace and deepest sympathies to their families. All so heartbreaking!💔💔 💔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  This is horrendous, didn’t know about this. This is gut wrenching. I live in North Queensland and visited Melbourne eighteen months ago for the first time and never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. It’s a wonderful city. I’m so sorry this happened to these lovely people 😢
