My family had Keeshonden for many years; we loved them dearly. Didn't see one for a very long time until a few weeks ago where I just ran into a man out walking his; my enthusiasm burst out immediately and the dog caught on to it right then and there. He and I exchanged a few stories about Keesie behavior that showed how well we understood them. Not a good grooming technic I have to say... pulling the furr like that is kinda painful. Imagine the headdresser pulls your hair with that strength and speed... and the cat's skin is thinner and more sensitive than a human's. I do not reccomend this technic to anyone.

I have a Persian kitten 3.5 months old, he got his cheeks and collar and paws dirty in the feed, the wool turned yellow. Maybe he's still small, how did you wash the yellowness when your cat was small?

Cleaning his face and paws with either a pet wipe or some warm water on a cloth after he’s eaten should help! I think eye envy do some products that could help too if there’s some staining. Hope this helps :)

How do you groom the inside area where the legs meet the trunk? Is there a way to do that with the dog standing up? I have to flip my boy over on his back to get to those places. I find the hair there wants to tangle a lot.

I tend to just lift one leg up to brush the other side and then do the same on the other side if that makes sense!

I am glad I don't belong to you and I'm not your cat. You are very rough with that beautiful sweet little baby . I watched four people before you and none of them treated the cats the way you do .I don't hold my Persian in one hand and yank the comb thru with the other to remove knots.! if anyone watching out there has just gotten your first kitten, please find another channel to watch to learn how to groom your precious baby. My first Keeshond was a pound puppy, so matted that the vet did not know what he was. His coat was so bad, that he had to be shaved. Out grew a fluffy Keeshond. For the 30 years since, all my Keesies have come from the local Keeshond Rescue.

Lost my Keeshond 6 years ago. Your video brought back a lot of memories. Suck beautiful dogs and amazing temperament. It was relaxing brushing my dog.. would do it while watching tv.. she would just lay on the floor falling asleep. You have to keep on top of it with these dogs. They love being fully brushed out.
