This song on Irish tour 74 is the one that made me want to play guitar. I have been drumming since I was 4 and picked up guitar around 13. My hands are destroyed from an accident and arthritis but i can still play slide. Thanks Rory for all you did.

My dad grew up on Rory. Passed it onto me, as a kid. Here I am. Almost 40 years old, and still singing & praising this Genius. Jinx will always be my favorite Rory album. And I'll tell my kids the same that this man is a guitar god!

I am in my 60's and just heard of him in the last year but, man, this guy was special. You just feel the joy that he has to give when he is playing...like he wants to share a gift with you. I wish I could have been friends with him. You are missed...thanks for what you gave...

Read about his life he owned or played a large variety of guitars. He could play mandolin and sax. He passed way too young .. seems that he drank alcohol and took rx meds eventually had a liver transplant that went well but got a staff infection after..RIP Rory
