  I'd love one of these but the speed of the SD bothers me. A lot of laptops run the SD slot off the USB bus. I have a Dell Latitude that runs it off the PCI-E, it's so much faster. Do you know which bus this runs off?

  I'm not sure. I did run Ubunut 1 time off the sd card and it performed well. I always install the os to the internal EMMC drive. It has a 64gb EMMC, but you can run it either way.

  You have to be REALLY careful with these. Mine acted up after just three uses, and wiped the partition and file tables out on two drives. I was copying from one drive to the other under Windows and suddenly got "USB Device Not Recognised, the last device connected malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it". I ended up having to do recovery of both using GetDataBack Pro as they showed as RAW after that. If you do get one, REPLACE the cheap USB cable it comes with IMMEDIATELY. I suspect the cables are really cheap. I had the previous WAVLINK model to this one, that did the same thing. I ended up spending £80 for a StarTech one, a much more well known brand.

  Don’t forget, Surf Internet is price locked too. So whatever package you choose is what you’ll always pay as long as you stay on that package.

  @@DannyYoungers yes. That’s what I like about it and unlimited data. Others may give you a good price but after a year it just goes up.

  Letting you know the game "end" with the two ghost busters crossing streams is not the real end of the game, it's a bug in the game that prevents the next stage where you fight the marshmallow man on top of the skyscraper. This was confirmed by the games creator There are some home brew fixes which correct this bug

  I wish I found that dock last year. I found a single bay dock for cheap and needed one badly for my Windows 10 backup (before updating to and deleting Windows 11). Might have been more useful on my Batocera build too.

  This company is a scam! I ordered the week before June 19, but they waited until the 19th to “ship” my commander watch. Well, let’s just say they finally admitted that they don’t have it in stock yet and blamed it on the weather (so they are probably shipping it from china and there’s a problem with the cargo?) but here we are July 8th and it’s still not shipped. I checked on KZread and serval reviewers loved it, but the BB rating is an “F”. I called my bank today, I’ve been patient enough. I want to warn people about this company, because they deleted all the negative moments I made on their fb page.

  I received my Raptor Pro on June 1st, 2024. On June 25 and 27 I wore my watch at our swimming pool. Since the watch face has developed a green hue. I emailed support only to be told that, “water damage was not covered in the 30 day warranty” furthermore I didn’t purchase a warranty package, it would cost $45-$55 dollars for a replacement. I thought these watches were waterproof? My pool isn’t but 6 feee deep🤷‍♂️. The watch still works; I still love it. I just wish Alpha Gear honored their “waterproof” statement and send me a replacement for free.

  You can try taking the bezel off and see if water is inside. It comes with little Allen wrenches. Just a thought

  I still haven't bought one but I like the VGA. I want it for Retro Games on a tube monitor. I think I would do Android though. 12 is kind of old though. I have 14 on my Pi 4B. Windows 11 Pro too. It runs some Windows Games like Tanuki Justice and some point and clicks on touch screen. I hate how there is no development. Blank download now for a long time on the OS I wanted. I think my purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Mini PC was a better deal but I like keyboard computers and VGA.

  I went to the junkyard today and got the spare tire from Nissan Altima, it fits great same pattern. Or you can get from Hyundai Sonoma, a lot cheaper in junkyards, good luck everyone..

  the rasp. pi 5 is by far superior since its a faster cpu more ram better gpu , also a much much bigger community for support or ideas....but if you like the orange line of products you should check out the orange pi 5b with the rockchip rk3588s with 16 gigs ram and a 128 emmc

  so far I hate mine because it tells me to download an app to add a device & this isn't listed anywhere nor will it show up after I connect it with Bluetooth. Got it connected. I really only want to use this to monitor how much our EV is using to charge at my father-in-law's house so I can pay him per kWh. if someone can reach out & help me it would be highly appreciated

  Smart life is the app. You can get most of the info from the screen using the buttons. But the app is way easier if you connect the meter to WiFi.

  I wouldn’t. It might run but you would be disappointed by the frame rates. This is great for general use like KZread. They are more for businesses. If you want to do gaming I would get a gaming pc

  This is seriously the weirdest machine I've ever come across. It is a total design fuck-up. - It is very well built. The keys feel nice, very heavy, not UV sensitive any more. "Wow" you think until you turn it on. - It has a disastrous video out circuit. You can basically ONLY use this with a 1084 monitor, and even then both 40 character modes deliver shit quality video. The RGB out is fine, but it is TTL, so only working on a 1084 or compatible CGA monitor. There are SCART adapters, but they alter the colour (that is prettier, but not as intended). If you have a 1084 with working unbroken door, be prepared to kill it with your 128 by endlesly opening it to hit the RGB/CL switch. - The default BASIC screen is even uglier than C64, black on green is a big eye sore. Who came up with this junk? - The 3 flavours of BASIC combined make use a headache. What works in which state? And with C64 mode, your "faster" 1570 drive becomes a slow 1541 as well. Who came up with that? And the "pro" version 7 BASIC of the 80 character mode still hasn't ironed out the big flaws of C64 BASIC. 3 years later and still crappy BASIC. - The original power brick (you have a compact aftermarket one) is humoungous. Doorstopper? Burglarkiller? And then thinking a 5V 3A USB charger could run this machine as well. - Sound output is terrible, huge amount of noise. Step back from the C64. - VIC chip Chroma/Luma output is still a mess. For such a well crafted machine, you get below dead-flesh-keys Speccy-1 quality video output. There is still colour bleed, and there are still jailbars. Unacceptable! RGB is the only mode that delivers crisp output, but still with the horrible C64 colour palette, and hardly any software for it. You can't play C64 games in RGB mode.

  The 128 basic colors were not a great choice. It's definitely an odd machine. Having CPM in it when that platform was mostly dead when this came out was a strange thing to add.
