Will it get hotter and hotter if it is turned on for 1-2 hours continuously in low light mode? This flashlight is mainly stepless dimming. It can clearly divide the lowest and highest gears. The lowest is 10 lumens, and it will basically not get hot if it is turned on for one to two hours at the lowest gear. If the gear is turned on at a higher level, such as 500 lumens, it will definitely get hot, but our flashlight has a temperature control function.

Thank you for supporting Sofirn!🥳 This is my guess🤯: because the HS42 uses a 18650 battery, the battery life may not be enough, so there is no power bank function. If it uses a 21700 battery, the battery life is enough, but it is heavier and uncomfortable to wear on the head. So the 18650 version was finally adopted. (Off topic, it is good to have a power bank function. There will always be a time when it is needed. 🤠I personally support this function. I will also feedback this situation to the designer)
@@sofirnfactoryPB function may save life in a forest, for someone to make a call. I use single 18650 in my nitecore powerbank and it gives 70% of charge for Honor 10 phone from zero %. It's quite good and useful, as reserve. Wurkkos 15 also uses 18650 and it has pb function.
Which is bettter the HS42 or the HS40? in general, efficiency, lumens output, etc...
Generally speaking, HS42 is better than HS40. HS42 has a wider range of adaptable functions and is more suitable for complex outdoor work. HS40 is relatively simple, but it has an advantage in price. I suggest you choose the product based on your time needs.

How do I enable automatic button blocking? Which product do you mean? The IF24 rotary switch has a lockout button. IF23 lockout related: AUTOMATICAL LOCKOUT: When the flashlight turns off after 1 minutes, it will automatically enter lockout mode. LOCK/UNLOCK: The light can be locked by pressing the button 4 times quickly. The LED flashes twice to acknowledge the lock. The feature can be disabled with a double press when the light is locked, or by charging the light.

Hi sofrin for a daily use, i work in the security, but the flashlights that the company give to us are too bad, would you raccomend the s28 over 29?
There is not much difference in performance and convenience between these two products. The SC28 is a tactical flashlight and may be more suitable for your needs.🤗

I bought it, i like it. Its my 4th Sofirn. Great quality for money ratio. Imo the best EDC flashlight, and i own from 2 cm flashlights to 2.5 km throwers.

@@sofirnfactory ive got IF22A and SC32 for work and the HS10 for house EDC. The IF24 replaced the SC32, and i simply like the colored leds. Later this year i plan to buy the HS41. Have a nice day and keep giving us nice flashlights!

IF24 pro seems to be better bet comparing to the normal if24,,,bonus of almost 100meters of extra beam throw...with same side light,,,,now thats a marginal difference from if23 im owning now.....maybe next if sofirn came out with "if24pro max" with 21700 powerhouse and 4000 lumens....i guess then its time to forget the if23...
