I am so happy a guy making observations without having an actual qualified opinion on this topic is able to share his broken logic. Which shouldn’t be followed btw. Using this same logic I guess we shouldn’t give coal miners respiratory protection either right? Welcome to why people believe in the flat earth bs.

I've tried your sort of poncho before, but the only poncho I will now use is one with a full-frontal zip. Mine is an Altus Atmospheric, from Spain. When it arrived, its bottom hem ended at my knees, so my wife extended the hem by sewing a 6" wide length of Tyvek to it. It's more or less ideal now. I live in the UK and these days I never wear shorts due to the danger of ticks and Lymes Disease, we are often warned about it. When wearing my Altus I also wear waterproof gaiters, the end result is I am dry from head to feet.

I moved into my car yesterday and spent the night with shirts towels and whatever else to block light. I don't worry about people, that's my dogs department.. anyways I woke up half mad half asleep and said I need curtains.. this was the first video that showed up with what I typed in, and it worked perfectly. I'm in a very very dark car tonight.. but keep in mind you will need to tweek it some...I cut one to short I just take an added a piece to it and kepted rolling..I added a few stripes of tape vertical and horizontal to give it some stability that is nice and take my word for it.. on the side that faces out.. cover that duct tape up with some black electrical tape.. Thank you for the video. I'm gonna sleep good tonight.

Great video ! I've been up 5040 a few times, and the lake is spectacular. At about 11:10 or so, is that a traverse to Nahmint? I've often wanted to try to get to Nahmint, but I'm not quite sure the best route.

maybe all the space cadets that talk pure nonsense can wipe their ignorant arses with face cloths while living in a dirt house. how does someone live in a house made from trees complain about cutting down the material trees!!!!

Do not go during tourist 😒 (shuttle season) to many people mostly foreigners. And waiting for shuttles is ridiculous, I'd rather drive my car to the trailhead sheeple. Other than that it's awesome.

Just found this channel from following MOTL channel. Wow what an adventure. Beautiful drone shots . Thanks for explaining all the aspects of it to us- the mental and physical. It doesn't matter that you didn't get there first, but that you did it. I am surprised that you released this as one video as opposed to a two part? Looking forward to more adventures.

Nice job! Way to face your fears head on! I live about an hour away from ZNP. In my 20s/30s (I’m a bit older now) I probably hiked that trail at least 2 dozen times and never got tired of it. Such great memories! I still remember feeling scared of that narrow spot you mentioned 😅 the first time or two. Hiking it with a myriad of first timers, I can tell you with confidence that’s the spot most people freeze up at! So, you’re definitely not alone. I keep finding these videos to watch lately. It’s been about 20 years since I’ve hiked up there. I think it’s telling me I need to try and get a permit and go do it! 😂 Thanks for the video!

My brother who is from Edmonton thinks your awesome, moose on the loose is his favourite channel on KZread because of your laughter and unique way of describing things. I told him that you came over for the hedge clippers like 10 minutes before he arrived. He pulled up moose on the loose and asked if it was you. He was so disappointed he missed the chance to meet you. You’ll build your business up bigger and stronger, I know it. If you need someone to hike with that will just listen and not judge please message me.

we don't put trail tape down, so we just follow our track we created but on big walls it doesn't help you becuase the gps isn't accurate enough. Often we are creating new routes close to where we were to get back. Sometimes you'll push through a bush but going back the branches are pointed at you not allowing easy access. One that that really helps is my framed shots solidfy my knowledge of where to go. I remember where I setup my tripod so that usually helps a lot.

@@IdRatherBeHiking Thanks for the reply David, but I was only joking. Back in the early 60's as kids we'd joke about using breadcrumbs so we could fine our back through the wooded areas. I figured as experienced hikers you no doubt had that part covered. Nice trip and coverage.
