We are a family of five who is trying to live our lives to Glorify God. We are pretty hard headed but we believe that we are finally doing what God has called our family to do; live simply, love God and others, raise our kids to be followers of Christ, and ultimately spread the Gospel. We pray that God blesses this channel and that through this channel we are able to reach others. We also pray that we can grow lasting friendships. We understand that we all need the support of other brothers and sisters in Christ to help encourage one another, especially through these trying times. Love you all and God Bless!

Why doesn't any of these canning methods come with time length ? Would love to give thumbs 👍 up
New washing machine ate junk they dont wash worth a fuck,it takes water to wash clothes, plus all of the computer bullshit on them always fails and costs a fortune to fix, thats why you see so many on the side of the road, pure government regulated piece of junk
I love this! We had it growing up. You are the truth.
How much can u wash in a load? Can u do comforters?
Color is all wrong. More of a school bus yellow
Get yourself a spin dryer to use after the wringer. It will pull more water out .
God bless you and your family
These are like Detroit 2 strokes of garden tillers. 😎
I would perfectly be okay to disconnect from society and live like my parents and grandparents did. I remember my early years as a child with an old ringer washer, hanging clothes out o dry, an outhouse, and a washtub for bathing. I was born in 1960
I would recommend that you put your hair up more in a bun or a high ponytail when operating the wringer washer. I own one and have gotten my hair caught before. It can be very painful and a bit scary. I worry about equipment failure on the emergency release button on a machine that old.
The "Speed Queen" is basically an almost exact copy of the first electric washing machine. The old saying is true,,,"If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Sometimes, the first model is the best model....💪👍🇺🇸
Where do you store it when you are not using it. I have no room in my basement or garage for one. I have a patio, but no porch. Would a waterproof cover work if leaving it outside. Like the kind you cover outdoor furniture with. My parents had an old ringer washer, and back when we had the Agnus flood back in 1972, my dad rigged it up so it would pump the water from the flooded basement out the back door with a long garden hose.
Voice is too shrill.
Why couldn’t you use a traditional top loader like from the 80’s? Wouldn’t it be easier?
Women were smarter in the old days...they knew to put thier hair back!
I have a 3acre property and it has poison hemlock on a good portion of it. You have to dig out the tap root without breaking it to get it fully removed
Nice you'll be safer and happier. in. your tent /cabin.
Great job guys. I was going to fix my grandson’s belt on his go cart, but after watching your video , i just him do it instead.
Amen! God bless you and your family!
Good thing you have that little boy there to retrieve tools and faster that you drop between the boards and your deck.
Such a waste of time and energy! A modern machine (any front loader the last 10 years) could do much more laundry at once using way less water and electricity (and no danger to digits) as well a spin out that water to really cut time on hang drying. But yeah, yeah I know, clicks. Watch those fingers!
Yeah so right before this machine we had a brand new energy efficient washer. That was a piece of junk this machine has stood the test of time it still has all the original parts on it. More energy efficient! Lol. You have to be kidding me. You want a washer that sprinkles your clothes and just barely even gets them wet how do they even clean. They use way more power than this machine as well. The only other way you could be more efficient is to wash them in a creek. Technology is not always a good thing!
Once upon a time, in the bustling city of Stankwell Falls West Virginia in the year 1908, a brilliant inventor named Louis Grabwell unveiled his latest creation to the world: the Grabwell Washing Machine. Standing proudly in his workshop, painted a vibrant shade of yellow with the Grabwell name emblazoned on the front, this contraption promised to revolutionize the way households handled their laundry. Unlike traditional washing machines of the time, which relied on manual labor or primitive mechanical methods, the Grabwell Washing Machine was a marvel of innovation. Powered by an outboard boat motor, it used this unconventional source of energy to propel its agitation, ensuring that clothes were washed with efficiency and precision. Louis Grabwell's invention quickly gained popularity among households across the country. Families marveled at the machine's ability to clean their clothes with minimal effort, freeing up valuable time for other tasks. Soon, the streets were filled with the cheerful hum of Grabwell Washing Machines as they worked tirelessly to keep laundry day a breeze. For over three decades, from 1908 to 1939, Grabwell Washing Machines became a staple in homes across America. Their yellow exteriors became synonymous with reliability and convenience, and the Grabwell name became a household name in its own right. However, despite their widespread use and popularity, the Grabwell Washing Machines faced a grim fate. In 1939, tragedy struck when it was discovered that the gasoline engines powering these machines emitted dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. As more and more households fell victim to this silent killer, authorities were forced to take action. In a heartbreaking turn of events, Grabwell Washing Machines were banned from use in homes across the country. Louis Grabwell, once hailed as a visionary inventor, found himself facing scrutiny and backlash for the unintended consequences of his creation. And so, the era of the Grabwell Washing Machine came to an abrupt end. Though they may have faded into obscurity, the legacy of Louis Grabwell and his yellow washing machines lives on as a cautionary tale of the dangers of innovation unchecked.
How cold does it get in your area, and do you stay warm in the tent? Beautiful job- I love the setting
Poison hemlock has a taproot. You have to take a shovel and dig down to the bottom of the root. just pulling out what's above the surface isn't going to kill the plant.
Most definitely.
What and amazing place ya'll have.
How did he get the agitator off we have an amana same thing and we r trying to fix ours and kinda scRed we will break it any tips thank you
Wow is this 100% manual or can you plug it up?
It can plug in
At 10:41 do you need a gasket underneath the tub also or just on top before you bolt the agitator down? Mine is the same washer and is leaking. Thank you for the video.
Yes there is a gasket I used a cork gasket and silicone.
@@daltongangoffgrid9376 so two gaskets - one underneath tub and one underneath agitator shaft that bolts in?
@@jamesbird6052 yes exactly! You might check your seal around your pump also as ours leaked when we got it and I just used silicone on it!
@@daltongangoffgrid9376 you are the best - thank you. Will watch your other videos - thanks again.
@@daltongangoffgrid9376 just thought of a few more questions - hope you don’t mind - should I change/ check oil in anything? Also there looks to be some type of tensioner near the belt - thumb screw with spring underneath. My issue is that it ran a while then started smoking - but it was leaking bad so I shut it down thinking smoke might have been from things getting wet underneath-
To clarify the part that does not turn is the 3 inch part on top of the metal
By the way am 77 year old hermitess
I have the same washer, however on the metal part that the agitator sits on the top part does not turn, it just squeaks horribly. Any ideas how to get it loose? Love your video.
I love when he pretends to be a dog under the bed. So precious.
Thanx 💛 God Bless you Liz.
Looks as though your using to much soap. When you have that much suds to much soap is being used. Looks as though you need to be doing more raise water loads to get rid of all that soap in your clothes.
Thanx for the tips! 💛
Your rinse tubs need to use turned to where use can use both tubs for double rinse.I been use in these washers over 20years
Thanx for the tips! 💛
❤🍎
That's going to be so nice to have this winter!
Yes!!!
You need more water in that wash tub
Hi there. Where do you get the ridgepole couplers?
We got ours from Colorado Yurt Company. 💛
❤❤❤❤❤
😳 that takes skill to rivet like that
magnifique machine 😍👍👏
I got this exact same washer but it has Montgomery Ward on the label instead of Speed Queen.
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it 💛
I got one of those washers but it has Montgomery Ward for the label instead of Speed Queen. It was one of the last ones made in the early 1980s.
Can you tell me how to replace rollers on speed Queen wringer washer
I’m not really sure. 😔 We haven’t had to replace ours yet. I tried looking up other videos or websites for you but couldn’t find any. We can take a look at ours and make a video in a few days if you’d like?
The little guy is quite the mechanic 👍.
Lol he’s definitely daddy’s little helper!
If you "just brought it yesterday" I have to assume the seller did the cleanup, paint work and rebuild. He MUST have known those soft plugs were rotted out! Your comment "We have to be careful with the magneto" was a real understatement. That Wiko EK is easily worth 2-3 times what the rest of the engine is worth. Every Cushman Cub I have picked up to wrench on has already had the Wico mag 'liberated' by the seller!
Can they be upgraded to a modern CDI/lawnmower ignition?
@@Deveak There are lots of ways to make a throttle-governed engine run. All they need for ignition is a spark that's timed to the motion of the piston. Most builders or restorers wouldn't call a non-stock ignition an "upgrade", though!
@@mojavegold- I’m looking at getting a hit or miss to make power. I have free natural gas on an older gas well. It’s free but not infinite, larger motors suck salt water into the well and it needs pumped. I want to get a small 2-5 hp hit or miss, convert to NG and use it to charge my 24 volt battery bank. I just don’t want to mess with older points and ignition systems when I can use a modern ignition system I know how to fix and can readily and cheaply find parts. A Briggs China clone coil assembly is like 10-15 bucks on eBay and so far I’ve gotten 1500 hours out of one without problem.
@@Deveak Running a hit-and-miss engine directly off a gas well is a clever old trick. Many years ago when I was a teenager there was a larger hit-and-miss running 24/7 off natural gas and pumping oil from multiple wells using old wooden pump jacks tied together with steel cables. That was in Chivo Canyon in the old Simi Oil Field. I would probably look for a used Harley magneto or similar design though, rather than trusting a Chinesium coil. After all, 1500 hours is only around 2 months if you were to run it round-the-clock!
That is interesting
very good for health and chemical free. congratulations.
