    @canoebelue As of right now, my AC is still working well. It's sad that one would think Ford's been in the industry for decades. And they can give us a great AC unit in their vehicles. I'll see next summer if I have to repeat the process. Thanks for your comment. And thanks for watching.

    No vacuuming?

  • @HandymanLand
    @HandymanLand4 күн бұрын

    It was vacuum the last time it was at the mechanic. No vacuuming this time. Most people don't own that equipment. They just want to DIY and know how to install refrigerant in their vehicle. Perhaps next year, if it gives problems, then I'll have to get it vacuumed. As of now, It is an ice box in that old 2000 F-150. Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching.

    Should the exhaust pipe be connected while using the dry mode? I have a small basement window that us not compatible to the mount. Please advise. Thanks

  • @HandymanLand
    @HandymanLand5 күн бұрын

    @flyintl007 If you're only using the dehumidifier mode. There is no need for exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe is only for AC. If you have a drain in the basement, then you can use the rubber holes they provide. This way, you can run the dehumidifier and not need to empty the unit when full. Thanks for watching.

    After watching your great video, we ended up purchasing the SereneLife SLPAC14 A/C. First of all, we purchase this brand because of what we thought would be GREAT FEATURES! Not so!! #1, The panel did not have a latch for ease of connection, but a toggle bolt. #2, the hose was separated by the connectors and the hose “KEEPS FALLING: OFF” when we move the unit.. even after I PLACED DUCT TAPE over it…#3. I called Customer Service on 06/25 and explained my great disappointment to them. I finally got an email with ticket number on 7/5 asking for more info and address. #4 Never received a confirmation on the status of shipment. #5. 7/15, I had to call Customer Service to Parts #. They never shipped the items… now it’s in their list. Unbelievable!! Bottom Line…. I personally would not ORDER from them again on ANY of their Product Line!!

    I haven't experienced that problem. But I typically always keep the slide door closed. The only issue I have is my teenage kids who don't close the slide door. By keeping it close at all times, you prevent dust and bree and water freezing that can cause issues. If I ever experience issues , I will make a video to keep everyone updated.
