    Luminar Neo made editing tolerable, even fun again. Adobe products are always changing and make things so much more difficult and tedious than it needs to be.

    My man REALLY! Wear and tear on your body! Like WHAT! Some people like myself who is just starting out are hoping they could have business like you one day! So to complain about that is CRAZY! There people who have jobs that are way more labor intensive!

    It’s just worth mentioning compared to other photo/video industries? Compared to a studio photographer that doesn’t hold a 10lb camera/gimbal setup all day lol. Obviously there’s way more labor intensive jobs in general, but I meant within the actual field. Thanks for watching

    Hey Andrei, I got in my first unexpected real estate photo gig for day after tomorrow :D As I was mainly doing videography, I try to educate myself pronto. Question for you, as I have no flash at all, do you think I can get away with two Godox 60SL light instead? Or shall I start to panic? :D

  • @AndreiRestrepo
    @AndreiRestrepo16 сағат бұрын

    Hey! Congrats! Those are constant video lights right? Constant lights are hard for RE photography because they have to be super powerful to overcome the ambient window light so that’s why flash is best, or HDR without flash like I did in this video!

    Hey Sir... congrats on the video.. excellent.. i have an r5c and bought a Laowa 12 f2.8 (not T2.9) but I can't get really sharp footage. Even using 5.6 - 8.0 ...and my focus around infinity to 0.3.... I'm using a meike adaptor because it is a EF mount. correct explosion.. i really don't know what's happening .. but I never had sharp footage like my rf 14-35 f4.. can you help me with that? thank you

  • @AndreiRestrepo

    Hey! Hmm, really strange! The footage should be sharp. You can try turning focus peaking on to make sure everything is in focus. Also I zoom into the image to make sure it's in focus before taking the shot

    where can we find good video editors?

  • @AndreiRestrepo

    Extremely tough honestly! Photo editors are way easier to find. I’ve gone through a few and finally ended up hiring my own. Usually outsource based editors don’t produce the best work so it’s tough. Been looking at r5c for a while. Can you confirm if you can run an external monitor like the Shinobi and still use the rear screen on the r5c? My biggest annoyance with the r6 and r8 is when I connect the external monitor the rear screen goes black and I have no way to move focus points around.

  • @AndreiRestrepo
    @AndreiRestrepo11 күн бұрын

    Yes! While I haven't used something like a Shinobi, any monitor I've used the screen can stay on. You can also send the BT709 or CMT709 preview lut over to a monitor which is really accurate, sometimes looks better than using monitor prebuilt ones or even your own LUTS. Full control over it, unlock the r6 mark ii I have like you mentioned. Thanks for watching!

  • @waynesaladine9937
    @waynesaladine993711 күн бұрын

    @@AndreiRestrepo awesome. Sounds like an awesome upgrade. Plus I like that you can have wave forms and false colour built in for run and gun situations without an external monitor. After using those features it's hard to go back to using the histogram. If only it had built-in NDs. I am in the same boat as you with RF glass and wanting to utilise those lenses so it might be the nisi true colour variable NDs. Great video as always.

    Would you ever bring your own lights if the house was dark? And do you always white balance for daylight?

  • @AndreiRestrepo
    @AndreiRestrepo15 күн бұрын

    I honestly want to try that, but it's more of the nature of this business where it's quick shoots & typically lower budget than regular video shoots. But totally could bring your own video light and blast it into the corner of the room to brighten it up like you would for flash real estate photography. I leave my WB at 5600 for outside, and adjust manually inside depending on the lighting that I'm dealing with. Typically 4000-4800K. Thanks for watching!

  • @AndreiRestrepo
    @AndreiRestrepo19 күн бұрын

    Thanks! It's just tough to do it that way since every room changes in exposure and white balance. You would basically have to do all auto settings and probably just use a regular color profile, like it would look doing it with a phone. I would still recommend doing it in short clips and putting it together in editing to get the best image possible for each space! Thanks for watching.
