The absence of vegetation is so jarring. Unfortunately, not much we can do to grow more hurricane proof trees, but we can build hurricane proof houses, we can put electrical lines underground. Condolences and sympathies to everyone affected by the hurricane in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. We can rebuild, we must rebuild stronger. Thank you for sharing

I just viewed your walking tour of Grenada before the hurricane and I saw that the place was so beautiful. I could not believe it! I can now see how much devastation was done!!! The first thing everyone should do is to check with God to see if the people have done anything that brought his anger. And if so repent. Then ask for his help to rebuild. God has been saying he's angry with the whole Earth for the wickedness here. And he has been bringing disaster after disaster. So everyone must start taking him seriously. That is the first thing to do... take him seriously! If you all do this you will be blessed and it may save your souls in case another hurricane hits. I am sending this message from the U.S. God is not playing with us here either. He is the one that has been bringing the disasters here as well. God bless you

REALLY SORRY TO SEE WHAT BERYL DID TO CARRIACOU. THE SOUTHERN COASTLINE OF MY PARISH AND TWO OTHER NEIGHBOURING PARISHES WERE BADLY DAMAGED AS WELL. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL WHO WERE AFFECTED HERE IN JAMAICA AND THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN.

Thank God so many people survived such devastation with flying debris. The aftermath of this is heart wrenching, msny persons livelihood destroyed in half hour. The The people are resilient but will need serious medical to process the trauma in time. My prayers go out all those affected in all the islands, some of my relatives lost roofs in St Elizabeth in Jamaica.

I think the wind was trapped in the area by the hills which is why there was so much damage. I'm so sorry for everything who has to handle all of this. Hopefully another one does not come your way this hurricane season also.

Nezzle - its pains me very deeply to see the level of destruction on the islands. I know them very well. And have also experienced three,Gilbert, Ivan and Irma, Tears came to my eyes. Thank you for the updates I promise I Will share and fwd to people who can and WILL help. Hopefully those big beautiful Russian/Ukrainian owned mega yachts that we see gliding around our beautiful harbors, reach into their VERY DEEP 1% pockets and give back to those islands that have opened their cruising grounds to them..... not holding my breath. I guess Its down to people like us. A heartfelt thank you. Glad that you and the family are safe.

I commented on a different video: Your PM should urge airlines to offer cheaper or better free of charge flights to Grenada and Carriacou for volunteers. I'm in Germany, lived several years in carriacou and can't find a flight, which connects me easily. I'm instantly available. And by the way ...every volunteer brings money to the islands, money which is desperately needed.

Blessings from Jamaica 🇯🇲, during the passage of the hurricane 🌀 passing over your Island, I dont know you personally but I thought about you and hope you were ok. Glad to see you are good. We have had some damages here in Jamaica, part of my roof here in Montego Bay went flying, but we have life, thank Jah for that. It could be have been worst. The hardest hit parts of Jamaica is St Elizabeth and Clarendon. Hurricane Gilbert in 1988 changed the way we Jamaicans make our housing. Bless up and keep safe and I know your people will recover. We Caribbean people are resilient.

Point of correction: when you were on paradise beach and pointed at the end and said that’s a separate island is inaccurate. All the way to the end is called Point Cistern. So it is in fact Carriacou and not a separate island. 🫶🏽

I am reminded of Isaiah 61:3 says "to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. Our Father is eternal and always has a plan. Let us trust Him and remember to please take one day at a time 🙏🏽🕊☝🏽🇬🇩🔥
