I feel like as someone who likes creative writing I might do short chapters, but even Patterson's 2-4 page chapters sounds a bit too short for me and ESPECIALLY how he does it consistently is just astonishing... Like maybe if you wanted to jump to another character for a short scene in an omniscient sort of perspective then I would maybe do a chapter that short... But doing it so much with the same sort of scene is ridiculous...

Thanks for your comment - you make a good point - it has to be a natural part of an individual's writing process - if we force it, it likely won't work.
