I liked the jogging pant tutorial although you’ll have to have some knowledge behind following along. But the basic pants are hard to make sense of. To many lines drawn that are unexplained and I feel that the back crotch depth looks way far out. Don’t think they are going to fit the way people expect. I’ll have to come back and see others comments. Hopefully I’m wrong. I just don’t think there should be that big a difference between the front and back crotch depth.

Thankyou for an easy to follow pattern making. I like it, especially when you added how to measure , formular and why. Iam trying to make Vietnamese Ao Dai and couldnt understand most of you tube videos. I would use your techniques except the arms since ao dai has ragland (? spelling) arms. If you could use the same teaching techniques to show how to make ao dai that would be great for most of us newbies. Thanks

I found this tutorial so easy to follow, although I had to alter the playback speed to keep up whilst reading the measurements. Usually I am an inches person, but in this tutorial it was easier to follow in metric, all this •7” •3” etc is too head spinning for me. The bust depth measurement was an eye opener for me, I do not recall seeing any other tutorial on KZread doing it this way. Folding the bust dart down is interesting, by folding on the middle line first it makes it look much easier. I was beginning to get confused, but what was done made sense. It is interesting to see that the same amount you go up to shape the sides at the bottom, you measure the same amount down on the centre seams, I learnt this for the first time yesterday after seeing someone else do it, by seeing it done again by someone else confirms it. I have watched many, many tutorials, but I have never seen them do this. I would be very interested to watch the video of a Princess seam (armhole) bodice pattern being done.

Please explain, the front bodice part measurement for shoulder to waist is 40, but for back body part is 37 cm. Is 37 cm is also the result of measurement of back body ?
