I saw this show in New York in January 1998, and I still remember this part! Awesome show!

The choreography reminds me a bit of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from "Alice In Wonderland" with all the characters changing seats around the table!

I worked on this show at the Prince of Wales theatre throughout its short run. I watched Martin Smith perform every night from my follow-spot. Fantastic talent. It feels like another world.

Daniel Boys portrayal of Rod has to be the best I've seen. After seeing Daniel's portrayal, all other Rods just pale in comparison

It's pretty sad to read some of the comments here. Instead of comparing Julie and Liza's performances, we should be thankful we got to see two legends performing this role. 😍

3:26 You know, if the cast if Shrek the Musical had a reunion concert, Christopher Sieber ought to do an awkward pause after singing “And no one’s gonna bring me down” just before “AAAaaaaaAAAAHHHH”

Such a deep and avoidable loss…I have a condition adjacent to the one that caused his aortic aneurysm, and on top of the hospitals missing it in the acute phase, it could’ve also been headed off if someone had noticed that he obviously had Marfanoid habitus. It makes me so sad whenever I think of how his life was cut so short, and how much more he could’ve given to the world 😭
