Boy, does he love the titles. Question is, has it served in the best interests of SA music, in general, or is he serving as a gatekeeper for corporatism? And is he SA's equivalent of JZ? Does USA have an academic promoting Hip Hop, something anathema to promoting good values in the youth?

I've been checking for information and discussions like this within Hip Hop in South Africa. The talk here is such a good explanation of what we're dealing with in Cape Town and the country, and why it's difficult to get growth and momentum for the industry here as a whole. The times are moving and changing and we are on the brink of a breakthrough for newer artists, as the support and culture grows in CT in particular. Thank you so much for these hidden gems of information.

It's the first interview ever where I've felt well represented as a South African. No conformity, no half-truths in the name of patriotism or bias, all is revealing and all is in balance. I salute my sista Khanyi. All love.
