    Hello, thank you for great video. I have seen that you can cap, and define the curve of your object. I have a difficulty trying to cap and define top (curve) of my object for further analysis. Would you please suggest how did you do that? I am trying to segment human airway and export to stl file. From there, I import the file into Spaceclaim but the spaceclaim cannot detect the hole curve of my object and then I cannot cap or lable it.

    I really appreciate getting to know a competent partner in industrial 3D-Printing, but I think the choice of material was very overkill. I understand that many companies don't have the time to get a desktop-grade printer to deliver satisfying results, but even low budget printers could get this part printed to a similar level, I think. Can you please show more advanced parts, especially those subject to high forces and difficult geometries? Cheers

    A pattern from cardboard seems easier, faster and cheaper in this instance.

  • @3dscanningservicesNet
    @3dscanningservicesNet3 жыл бұрын

    Cardboard templates are definitely cheaper. However 3D scanning is going to be infinitely more accurate, provide a permanent digital record of the parts scanned, and allow for the development of an idealized CAD model, with all defects removed, allowing for the addition of parameters such as symmetry. Additional advantages of scanning is the ability to compare the scanned part to a CAD file, if one exists, to prove that parts are within spec.. and if they're not, how to fix them.
