Omg we look the same except I'm much more prettier than you 😊
i met my partner 4 years ago and we supposed to have 'fun' but we ended up talked for hooursss... then we had sex and somehow we keep going to met each other just to talk and turns out abt a few months i think i love this guy.. i cant relate with people who only met once then they ditch them... my partner maybe minus over his appearance or style but i love his personality and i think thats what gay people should look out more instead of apperance and the way how they present themselves, accept each other flaws
It's very risky to date straight man.
yummy
You’re a sexy guy and seem like you’ve got your head screwed on right. There are so many chapters in life - this is just one
great video, watching from Ca
TT
Give yourself and others a chance, try at least two dates to make sure you have something in common. It is hard to get the right vibe in just one day. Don't be too picky and enjoy company without expecting anything from the encounter.
You have such a good energy. And so honest, Dude, Joey, you are so sweet, I really enjoy this content. Hard to believe you are single, you're a very handsome man.
@@aceautonewportky you’re too kind, thanks for making my day!
I LOVE your videos and your vulnerability ! I am a Nurse in L.A. and have been on both sides of this fence (Vulnerability and rejection) -- as we ALL have. I've been rejected and I have had to reject plenty, that is life. But putting yourself out there like this is amazing -- you are attractive physically and mentally stimulating -- you will do just fine when the right one comes along. 🙂Come to L.A. and say hi & keep these upppp !
@@ZOOOOM-t8e rejection is a part of life, it shouldn’t stop us from living ! Thx for your comment. Will defs have to visit LA (I’ve never been) at some point !
Well G’day mate!
Brilliant video. You articulated the subject beautifully.
I'm a new subscriber. Thoroughly enjoy your channel. You are a beautiful soul. I pray you continue to find peace, happiness and contentment in your solo life - I have after living alone for the past 28 years. Greetings from South Africa.
Hei mate!
Bonito cuerpo, lol. Keep up the good work!
Acupuncture treatment can help stress.
people are afraid of being awkward or rejected/failing but doing new things requires both. great advice im still learning this
Hi! Another great video. I love your chequered socks. Where did you buy them?
@@Jetchisel H&M :)
The more I watch and get to know you, the more I see myself in you. We have so much similarly. I wish you all the best in your family because you deserve, wish I was in Australia I would definitely be your friend.
You must be a pretty great person then! Haha
Great insights and nice music. So yea, I have been alone 99% of my life. Every time I allow myself to be vulnerable, my heart ends up broken and I have to take anti-depressants. LOL. It is just easier being alone. Yet, it isn't truly living... I guess.
@@bg147 unfortunately that’s what we gotta do, risk heartbreak for the potential of happiness. It’s worth it though !
@@joeyroey Thank you
You're not lazy. Downtime is a critical part of our lives when we need to rest up.
Another great upload dude ...vibe was so relaxing and topic was so refreshing...shows great strength and personal growth. Sweet. 😊
Thanks for joining me on my journey 🙌🏼
I always tell myself not to create a narrative that no one agrees with. We always tell children to speak up ,ask questions, and feel their emotions with no harm. As adults, we should do the same.
Agree 👍🏽
I lived a lot like you did in London. But I always wanted to live with someone. I wish I could have just enjoyed living alone and being young. You do that and you know how great it can be.
@@simonsmatthew there’s pros and cons to both. I’d probably consider living with someone, but has to be the right person 👍🏽
@@joeyroey That's it. Enjoy the advantages of being alone, or being with someone. But either way enjoy your younger years, because suddenly you find they have gone. And after you are young, just enjoy every day as every day is a gift.
No mention in the video but being a POC probably also plays a significant role in his dating prospects
@@hellix17 in what way?
Too bad, not much style, art of living
You got too much stuff
I’d say gay dating is much easier than hetero dating, there’s no ‘mystery’ about the opposite sex and you aren’t forced into stereotypical gender roles either. As for marriage, a really big survey was conducted here in the UK in 2020 to check on the progress of couples who tied the knot 10 years earlier in 2010 and the heterosexual marriages had a failure rate of 35%, the lesbians 15% and the gay men 7%
I feel like feeling a vibe is important but it isnt everythkng. You are two seperate individuals and everyone is fundamentally different than everyone else. You'll never fond someone who completely goes with your vibe. I feel like its more about compatibility. Can you see yourself getting along with this person despite any differences? The better you are at working with different types of people the happier you'll be in a relationship. But it takes a certain deoth of character to realize that a relationship isnt so much about you, its about each other equally. So many people in the gay communinty taking completely selfish approaches to dating is where the problems stem from I believe. Of course there's always a balance --- you should be happy with the relationship, but maybe changing what would make you happy can be beneficial. There's a difference between not settling for less and having unrealistic expectations. We're all imperfect people, and there is no prince charming. Well except me, but none of you would know.
ASAWA you cute 🙏🔥
Name of the filo restaurant please, food looks delicious

Wow this was 7 years ago… while I personally like your brown eyes better 😅 it is fun to change your look from time to time
Being vulnerable and honest about what you want is a good thing.Even rejection can be a good thing.Love your videos Joey!.😎
@@leedaniels7196 yesss, fearing rejection only makes you miss out on things!
@@joeyroey Absolutely Joey!.👍
I relate to this so much, especially the part about time-matching/exceeding text responses (soooo pathetic and immature when you really think about it 😭😭😭😭). These days, I’m really trying to be more comfortable with showing vulnerability. I literally could be head over heels for someone but will refuse to send the first text 😭😭 I believe it all boils down to a fear of rejection. Thank you for making this video, you really have a way of putting complex emotions into a very aesthetic video 🫶🏾
@@ifofanah1We’re self sabotaging ourselves 😂 next time send that first text ;)
i think it can also be beneficial to meet and engage with this person in a non dating scenario. sure maybe its way harder for gay people than straight, due to the logistics. but just from my experience, when you meet someone on dating app its a bit likely they will just continue looking for someone else due to the habit of using the app. thats at least my experience in many cases (of my limited use of dating apps). and when i met someone through a group with shared interests, someone who happened to be gay, it just felt a lot more serious from the start
@@alvegutt42 valid point. Dating apps make everything transactional due to the myriad of options. Continuing a friendship is good if there is no initial attraction / connection which is what I do. In the case of the first date, the energy was very negative and he made me full uncomfortable , hence why I left.
@@joeyroey oh sorry i meant more in a general sense when thinking about finding relationship. your approach seem good, based on not wanting to beat around the bush
your hair looks the best here!
im gay and kinda lonely. living in southern europe. i think the solution is just to not give up and look for the unique way for each of us to live. which can take a bit time and introspection. i feel in professional life ive progressed a lot the past couple years to build more meaningful relations. still lacking in the close (non internet based) friendships tho
love your video Joey, just subscribed, and watching from Ca, have a great day and keep up the cool videos!
I would not reject you, be nice to meet you and hang out, go to the gym for dinner, etc.
@@briansullivan4873 you’re too kind 😃
I think you are very nice person, I live by myself to here in Edmonton but I have a sister and a brother is close to me

soooooo real, lately I've been finding myself realizing that I'm just playing myself by not being vulnerable and playing the "he took 1 hour to reply, I'll take 2" game. the guy missed out big time on you, but glad it was still a learning experience for you <3
Yeah, why do we do that hey? We’re only playing ourselves 🤣 best to stay authentic
