Hi wondering if clark county has a high level of radon? Is it safe to live there?
According to sources online, yes we do. However I would not let that stop you from moving here, as it's simple to identify and take care of. Radon comes out of the ground, so if you don't have some sort of basement, it's not an issue (source: all my clients radon inspections, none has ever come back high if it's above ground) If a house has a basement, get a radon test. If it comes back high, you can get a radon mitigation system installed for a few thousand dollars and you're all good. It's code in newer homes (not sure what year this started) to have a passive radon mitigation system, so if you do find radon in a home that has one of these systems, you just need to have it hooked up, and it mitigates the radon.
It looks like work on Eleva has stalled. Perhaps Romano can't continue until they get more investment? Do you know where things stand?
Eleva has indeed been delayed. It was a strategic choice on their part based off the building climate right now for apartments, and I do think they need to raise more money as well. If you check out their site there are more details on the project!

What happened to the 160;000 House 🏠???
Clark County has not seen home prices like this in more than a decade. Demand for the area has really gone up, thus prices as well!
How can u help people on drug ?
That's a tough question to answer! I think it is a multi-sided approach that the local government and community have to come together on.
How difficult is it to find a rental with a dog? We have an 11 year old pug. We plan on moving to Vancouver next spring and will start as renters.
It's definitely possible especially with a small dog. Having a lot of dogs 3+ is really tough. You'll lilkely have more luck in a rental apartment vs a house

A tip for those out of city or state: some landlords or property managers are willing to give virtual video call tours. Of course it's always better to see it in person, but if you don't have the time or funds to make various long distance trips, you can inquire if they offer video tours.

I literally had top stop your video right after you smirked and smiled real big after the most closed minded judgemental stigma i want to have a heart towards this but I dont hahaha before you go speaking on things you don't really care about do your research. people like you are what makes me want to work even hard to prove poeple do recover people do get better if they werent denied the help by agencies or all the stignma from people like you maybe they would still have hope but its been taken from them and yeh mental health is the biggest thing behind it beside your man made drugs put out by our government and the rich and powerful. Guess what I was homeless for 5 years and technicallly still am i licve in safestay community and i just took my exam to be a certified peer councler I have job that is do rewarding and i live eveday knowing i made a difference because I got and pick up the garbage and give garbage bags out the individuals experiencing challenges such as homelessness. we are humas and have the same rights as you do. You should really go educate yourself with the facts before you go assuming.

Hannah’s videos are so interesting and informative and I especially enjoy learning all about the new developments in the Vancouver area from her. As someone who worked at HP at this site for many years and loved it, which we called it, South Campus, because we had the North Campus where Peace Health is now located it’s exciting to see this property once again alive and thriving like it was in the heyday of HP.

What about the cows? What will happen to them? They have been a staple at the VIC for many years.
Not sure the exact plans, but Marc and Ron will make sure they are well taken care of 😄 I would bet they will leave them on the property as long as possible, then relocate them to a better home

Hi, this is KS from Holy Hills. wow, I did not know VIC is such a place as part of Vancouver development project. I knew this place since 2001 as it used to be HP site. I could not get the information that when VIC will start 100% function, but I hope it will start before I come back to Japan.

Huge lack of primary care physicians. It Does rain a lot here. Property taxes are high. Housing costs are high. There are also a lot of car thefts here. Huge homeless problem. Public transit is not great. This realtor is sugar coating the reality of living here.

Not directly in Fisher's Landing, but people do like to fish in the Columbia River which is just minutes away! You could also try Lacamas Lake or Lake Merwin
