Great informative video, of note is that as a Canadian company it is important to recognise that CSA Z462 is equivalent to NFPA 70E, and CSA Z463 is equivalent to NFPA 70B, there are diferences but they are very similar standards and more applicable to Canada..

Thanks. You failed to state a correction factor for the correct reading of current in the chosen conductor with multiple sensor wraps. Is there a factor, if so What is the factor? Get someone qualified to inspect that instrument and refine your understanding. I believe there should be no deflection with a tool of that kind. Did you park your truck on it?

And there is a correction factor which corresponds to number of wraps as in coil windings because of electromagnetic coupling. I knew the answer before asking just like I know digital meters don't deflect, the activate optical segments in meaningful patterns, Unless you melt or physically damage your meter. Where does the discharge of the gas goes after the test? Is it released into the air? When you expose a monitor to the gas it is detecting and it detects the level it is designed to detect, the excess gas appears to be released into the air or some way to capture it. The gas goes into the monitor and it has to come out somehow when the clip comes off of the front of the monitor. Reason, I am asking is: We had bump tested 2 H2S monitors with the Honeywell IntelliDoX docking station, and after the tests, we smelled rotten eggs and we left the area. It didn't have a way to capture the excess gas. Somehow the gas going in to test the monitors has to be released somehow.

Thank you for your comment, Tornado. We’ve looked into this and found the gas does disperse into the air after use. While calibrating with the H2S monitor, smelling rotten eggs for a short while after is normal. If the room you’re working in is fairly small, it’s recommended to open a window. This will help disperse the gas more quickly. Please let us know if we can be of any further help .

The tinning is done incorrectly. A lot more should be applied to prevent burning of the tips, and allow better heat transfer.

The RX station was ordered from Onset directly and after thoroughly going through the instructions and setting up the unit i didn't find any reference to the grounding unit.
