  Maybe they weren't fighting it from the inside but rather a jet from a ladder truck on the other side went through a window and up through a hole in the roof?

  Have you ever had an Air-Pac on with a pass alarm??? Do you think these alarms might be going off when a Firefighter or Firefighters have a 2 1/2 inch hose in their hands. Perhaps with 100 plus pounds of water pressure at the nozzle they're holding onto. Guess that doesn't leave any extra hands to reset that alarm does it................

  Definitely not wrong just to ask a question. Especially a reasonable question. I understand the ladders position when doing interior work for means of egress but when everyone is removed from the building.. That is one of the ladders main roles is as an elevated stream.

  Serious cockloft fire. Spraying the bricks won't work. Surprised there are so many rear mounts with 1 axle. We (FDNY) had them but we broke so many axles they went to dual axle at rear in 90s.
