Nice
I saw your KZread channel. Your videos are really awesome. I love it. But your videos are not good SEO friendly, so you are not getting more views on your videos. SEO of your channel will increase channel growth, channel views will increase, subscribers will increase. Can I contact you to discuss this further..?
very nice
i wish they would change the rules for girls lacrosse. so i could finally watch it
Really said "hooray"

Big play big player
we are using xbotgo...do you think osmosis pocket is better than xbotgo to make live streaming of basketball game like this on twitch, Facebook or others platform?
I'm not familiar with Xbotgo other than it's a gimbal. I've never set up my Osmo Pocket on a stand and let it track a game. I honestly don't know if it has that capability. The Osmo Pocket is marketed primarily as a vlogging camera although it's capable of much more. It looks like the Osmo Pocket 3 can livestream via RTMP. The best way to film any sport is to have someone operating a camera. AI devices can't match the human eye. Cheers
Commentators are so well spoken great job, by the way do they keep a thesaurus handy in the booth?
Nice!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video! Which camera model did you use for these recordings? I need to buy a video camera, and don't want to rely on VEO footage for my daughter's games. Thank you!
Hey Chadney, I was using a Panasonic AG-AC30 to film the games that produced this highlight video. The AC30 is no longer in production but I think you can still find them online.
Thank you so much, @@recruitlings !
You're welcome. Good luck!
awsome interview !!!
Hello hope you are well, I want to do the same thing for my boys soccer team, this is great. Are you still using the DJI pocket osmo handheld that you used for soccer or have you upgraded? any advice on what to buy and what settings please? Many thanks much appreciated
I’ve only used an Osmo Pocket to film one basketball game (mounted on top of another camera and elevated about 10ft up), and one American football game (mounted on a boom pole and I followed the teams on the field after each play). I wouldn’t use one for soccer due to its lack of zoom. The Osmo Pocket is a vlogging camera. However, my opinion, it’s still better quality than a VEO or other AI cameras used in sports.

hi what camera equipment are you using please... are you using tripod?
Hey, thanks for the question. These games were filmed with a Panasonic AG-AC30 camera (no longer in production) mounted on a 15ft tall HiPod.
😭 "Promosm"
Go house
They had another big win tonight.
Absolutely beautiful!
Have you tried remotely controlling the PTZ on the Pocket or Pocket 2 to capture games? Is it too laggy?
I have tried doing this but there are always those instances where the ball is going to move faster than your fingers can move the camera on your phone. It's not impossible.
@@recruitlings how would you compare it to operating a traditional fluid tripod?
It can be a bit jarring compared to a really good fluid head. I have the first OSMO Pocket. I've never used v2. I think it's a very useful device and is worth owning if you film a lot or have a need for something that records to data cards as opposed to filling up your phone. I've gotten a lot of use out of the OSMO Pocket.
This year Wheaton north high school won the lacrosse tournament
Not one carry call
Welcome to summer league basketball...
This is awesome!
#10 out here doing ground ball drills mid game
Awesome, I had a game today too
Nice, our game today was super rough
Yup, it got a bit scrappy out there.
Goal
Bro wrapped his stick around his neck
Actually, the glove is under the neck and the other end of the stick is under 11’s left arm. Impossible to see without watching frame by frame. I’m surprised that didn’t cause a fight. Disciplined composure by the Marist player.
Uhhhhhh???
Not bad. I would take him!
I love hockey. Currently going to Michigan for a tourney. I wanna end up like these guys soon
Good luck with your tournament this weekend. Thanks for watching. Cheers.
Great Mach up
Game three should be a fun one. Thanks for watching! Cheers.
Who you picking to win?
Uh... Well, I've been filming Benet's home games, so, you know. For me, I always hope for a really good game by both teams. I film every sporting event objectively. I like a good show by both teams. How about you, Sheila? Who are you rooting for tomorrow night?
these videos make me feel hopelessssssssss bro im never gonna be as good as these girls no hate, all the girls are super talented and worked super hard!
Keep working on it! Most importantly, have fun doing so. Work on your skills and don't obsess comparing yourself to others.
me too i have my first practice today i’ve never played i’m so scared
Bro I just got my lacrosse stick 2 days ago cuz my girls lacrosse got canceled so I’ve been practicing and I’ve gotten pretty good
sameeee
Why tf did KZread recommend me this lmao but whatever, get it girl
It's a KZread mystery... Hope you enjoyed her video.
Something for everybody at this game.
Hey Raymond, it was a very exciting game. Thanks again for watching the video.
This was a great game.
Well, it was for Benet. Both teams are ranked closely so I wasn’t expecting a 6-1 final score. Thanks for checking out the game video. Cheers.
@@recruitlings Great job with the camera. I was there with my kid, who just got accepted into Marmion. Every goal was a great play. Some of those setups Marmion had no chance.
Thanks for nod. Congratulations to your son. Will he be playing hockey next year? The only goal that was unexpected was the one that ricocheted off the Marmion tender’s back and went in. First time I’ve seen that. There’s a first for everything. That was the first time I’ve filmed Marmion hockey. I filmed one lacrosse game at Marmion last spring and they spanked their opponent.
What camera are you using for this video?
Hey Kevin. For this game I filmed with a Panasonic AG-AC30 (no longer in production) and I used a RODE shotgun microphone with a wind muff on it, also known as a dead cat. The reason the footage is so bouncy is because I filmed from a 15 ft tall tripod from beyond the outfield and it was extremely windy that day.
Did the monopod you used have a tripod on it?
The monopod did have a tripod head on it if that's what you're asking.
Don’t land on your stomach
Good Afternoon, I am the head of FC Omega. I have a question do you know any women’s coaches/ players in the DMV area I’m looking for women players from my new WPSL. I can provide free film of the players scouting or if you want to just keep the players fit and have some touches on the ball will absolutely be happy to take them for our 8 game season. Without affecting your season of course .
I’m afraid I don’t know what the DMV area is. I’m in Illinois.
This video does a great job of capturing the excitement of the game. Nice camera placement and angles. Can the DJI Osmo Pocket camera be used to live-stream these games to youtube, or is a video capture card needed? Do you find that the DJI Osmo Pocket is capable of filming in the low light of many indoor basketball gymnasiums?
I’m not familiar with the streaming capabilities of the Osmo Pocket. I’ve never tried it. The only video I’ve seen about it didn’t stream clean video. The overlays from the app were streamed as well. Maybe that has changed. It’s not a feature that I’ll likely ever use. I probably could’ve pushed the ISO a bit more at that gym. I filmed a night football game with the Pocket at a high ISO, 60fps from the sideline on a 10 ft boom pole and it looked great, at least I thought it did. There’s an old saying in tv news, “bad video is better than no video.” Most high school gyms I encounter are pretty bright these days. If you buy a Pocket, use the manual settings, crank up the ISO, and have fun filming. I recommend filming in 4K since it can, then upload to KZread. Who cares if it’s a little noisy. You’re not submitting game film to win an Emmy award. Cheers
I see your more as a cdm then center back, you like to always be first to the ball and like to attack when you see the option which is a really big quality i see in most cdms.
do you recomend osmo pocket on a soccer game of my son. 40 mins every halftime... do the pocket overheat on high fps
I don’t recommend the Pocket for soccer. Soccer moves too fast for this camera to be effective for game film or highlights. I recommend hiring a local, experienced camera operator for the job and get as many of the parents to pay for that service. Nothing beats a good camera operator.
@@recruitlings just for personal video. if you look my channel all of my sons game, now i am using note 9 for almost 3 years and i want to upgrade the quality of video a high fps so when i edit for a highlights i can do some slow motion... what cqmera do you recomend pocket or gopro
I recommend getting a camera that has a zoom feature, like camcorders have. Something that films at 60fps. Get a good tripod, not the $30 special deal or kit tripod. Sometimes having a good tripod is more important than the camera. I don’t recommend the Pocket or a GoPro for full games. The field of view is far too wide.
I’ve worked with and still work with several recruiting services that have contacted me about my footage. They all tell me the same thing. They want to see two lines on the pitch so they can see what’s happening, ESPECIALLY when the ball is on the far side of the field. You need a zoom rocker on a camera to do this. Follow the ball, not just your own kid. You have to film objectively. Watch some of my soccer highlights but not the ones that are largely VEO footage. Obviously, I didn’t film those, I just edited them. Filming sports for recruiting is a fine balance between zooming in close enough to see who’s doing what without losing the ball and filming wide enough and still being able to easily identify players. You have to be 100% engaged behind the camera. Good luck to you.
Hey guy, this video use Pocket 1 or Pocket 2 ?
This was filmed with the Pocket 1. I have to imagine that one will get better results with the pocket 2.
