Not seen this before, thanks. Very similar to the great flying displays here in UK at the Shuttleworth Collection. Incredibe how brave the early pilots were. Today is the 100th Anniversary of the RAF being formed in 1918, before that it was the RFC. No wonder that during WW1, more British pilots died during training accidents than due to enemy fire, largely because there were no proper training methods until 1917, and very few aircraft, and little or no time. Spose it was the equivalent of putting modern non-drivers in single seat F1/Indy cars and saying go teach yerself and quick....

Allah , the Eternal Refuge. Jamais gerou ou foi gerado. E ninguém é comparável a Ele.

When you can do it without he fishing pole, you'll have something. It was common practice to 'whip' U/C planes back in the day. Of course, if you were caught doing it in an AMA sanctioned contest, your flight would be a 'no score' (in speed events). It was also common to whip the U/C plane to bring it around the circle and get it to land where you took off from. Now, let's all go find a KZread video of Devo's "Whip It ... Whip it good!"

i remember going to see this airshow as a young boy around 1980 and that first airplane was being used as the "enemy aircraft" and as dropping black powder bombs from up higher and the last plane was the "good guys" and they were both flying way higher and blowing off these really noisy black powder bombs...i also remember triplane and several other vintage aircraft that took flight...i had no idea this was still going on, thank you for posting
