  Dogs who are afraid of thunderstorms/fireworks go underneath of something sometimes shaking or curled up , not near doorrs or window even sometimes go out and run away, like our dog once disappeared after new year's eve then shows up 5 days later.

  Stop leaving your dogs outside if you are expecting a delivery! This should be common sense. Back when I was a part time delivery driver I would avoid homes with dogs outside due to the unknown danger they may or may not pose.

  He's a good one because someone like me, who doesn't like dogs, would have left it on the sidewalk. Dog owners, for some reason, don't understand something that simple. It's not until their dog attacks a stranger that they care about actually putting a leash on their pets.
