  So i tried following along to the tutorial and i get everything with the background but when i move the text to the foreground and do the 0 opacity and the Shallow Knock Out my text just cuts out and leaves a transparent shape where my letters are and i cant do the black layer in between. Can you give me some pointers?

  Hi there, Unfortunately Photoshop 7 does not have "Smart Object". You can simply distort the picture's angels by holding Ctrl. 🙂

  the video was in speed at that moment .Sorry for the unknown process. You can Simply use Short-cuts several times (Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste)

  Yes, It is possible to do motions in photoshop. For rotation motion : with the layer selected, go to menu Window > Timeline > Create Frame Animation > set keyframe on Transform.
