Thanks, yes, it is a common issue. 12V batteries in EVs especially Hyundai are lasting about 2 years. To help this issue, I keep my SOC above 20% in my 2024 Ioniq6. I know this would not work for every owners' use case. I've had my ioniq6 for 6 months.

Typically, a battery’s warranty does not work the way you think. For example, if it fails after 3 years, odds are you will only get back 40% of the original purchase price of your battery, i.e. 2 years left out of 5 years in total. Please reread your battery warranty.

Hmm, I'm 6'2 (190cm) and while I fit comfortably in the seat I don't see that much because the ceiling basically cuts off a third of my field of view? Sat in it today and I have a test drive planned for next week.

@@stevietheioniq i lowered it to the lowest point. I had enough room above the haed and the seating itself was fine/comfortable but it did cut off a not so small part of my field of view, the black block where the mirror is connected to the windshield didn't help either. Maybe it was just because I wasn't used to it, I do have some troubles in that regard with my current car aswell, a hyundai ix20.

New pricing way more expensive in my opinion here in BC. January 6 charged on a 350 kWh station took 34 minutes and 32 seconds at $0.57 per minute cost me $20.74 ($0.99 gst included) Total energy delivery 48.9010 kWh. January 14 at exact same charger new price set at $0.70/kWh. Total energy delivery 53.2454 kWh. Billed Energy 53.0000 kWh. Cost me $38.94 ($1.85 gst included). Total charge time was 44 minutes and 18 seconds. On the old pricing structure, I would have only been charged $26.51 ($1.26 gst included). Needless to say I'm not going to be charging here again.

So EV drivers are crying that the infrastructure they need to charge with is costing more... boohoo... you should have to pay more. I don't want my tax dollars to pay for new chargers and infrastructure for you. Do you think Esso/Shell/Petro charge tax payers to build a station? I am however, surprised they are doing it this early, they should have waited until the current idiot government forces people to buy EV's, then crank the price. This is inevitable.

Why would someone choose a Tesla when: it required double the charging time with its outdated 400v system. Has the worse drive train and suspension. Is very loud inside comparable to the Ioniq 5 with it’s double layer glas etc. the Tesla also has no driver display, no augmented reality HUD, doesn’t have V2L, no adjustable regen settings and no regen paddles for on the fly adjustments , no ability to decouple the front motor in the AWD version, no sunroof shade, no relax seats. Etc etc. the list is even longer but those a just a first glimpse. No hate against Tesla. Great cars but not a wonder package that does it all. The good app and software come with a lot of cons on ride quality, loudness, suspension etc. and don’t forget the recent removal of the sonic sensors and Tesla not being able to keep their promise of the vision system. Plus outside of the US, a full self driving beta is not on the horizon but people paid 8.000€ for this feature and are now waiting since over 3 years. By the time they get something their car will be long gone
