Welcome to Stevie the Ioniq. Hi I'm Stevie. In this channel you will see my journey through the ownership of my first electric vehicle : "The 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5". This channel combines my passion for EV, storytelling and creating content.
Thanks, yes, it is a common issue. 12V batteries in EVs especially Hyundai are lasting about 2 years. To help this issue, I keep my SOC above 20% in my 2024 Ioniq6. I know this would not work for every owners' use case. I've had my ioniq6 for 6 months.
@jean-marcfiliatrault26612 күн бұрын
Typically, a battery’s warranty does not work the way you think. For example, if it fails after 3 years, odds are you will only get back 40% of the original purchase price of your battery, i.e. 2 years left out of 5 years in total. Please reread your battery warranty.

January 14 at exact same charger new price set at $0.70/kWh. Total energy delivery 53.2454 kWh. Billed Energy 53.0000 kWh. Cost me $38.94 ($1.85 gst included). I don't want my tax dollars to pay for new chargers and infrastructure for you. Do you think Esso/Shell/Petro charge tax payers to build a station? Why would someone choose a Tesla when: it required double the charging time with its outdated 400v system. Has the worse drive train and suspension. Is very loud inside comparable to the Ioniq 5 with it’s double layer glas etc. the Tesla also has no driver display, no augmented reality HUD, doesn’t have V2L, no adjustable regen settings and no regen paddles for on the fly adjustments , no ability to decouple the front motor in the AWD version, no sunroof shade, no relax seats. Etc etc. the list is even longer but those a just a first glimpse. No hate against Tesla. Great cars but not a wonder package that does it all. The good app and software come with a lot of cons on ride quality, loudness, suspension etc. and don’t forget the recent removal of the sonic sensors and Tesla not being able to keep their promise of the vision system. Plus outside of the US, a full self driving beta is not on the horizon but people paid 8.000€ for this feature and are now waiting since over 3 years. By the time they get something their car will be long gone

Typically, a battery’s warranty does not work the way you think. For example, if it fails after 3 years, odds are you will only get back 40% of the original purchase price of your battery, i.e. 2 years left out of 5 years in total. Please reread your battery warranty.

Just in time for summer 🤣
oh Yeah
Trick #1 buy a Tesla instead. Trick #2 that’s it. Just buy the superior product.
Yeah but if you get in a fender bender only Tesla can fix Tesla and your Tesla for half a year
Why would someone choose a Tesla when: it required double the charging time with its outdated 400v system.
