Hi Beth!! I just discovered and love your channel! I saw on one of your previous video that you discussed trouble with finding UK editions of books after Book Depository closed, and I had the same problem until I discovered Blackwell's! Someone probably already mentioned it, but just in case they didn't I wanted to recommend it, they have free shipping to the US too :) Anyway, your videos brighten up my day - can't wait for the next installment of this series! <3

Hi, I wanted to say that I really like your idea and this video series! in the previous episode, you said that you'd try doing it twice for the next month and I was wondering why you didn't but after watching this, I guess you were too much into the TV show lol will wait for the next episode then! I enjoy this because it motivates me as I'm kinda in the same situation but a bit different, around 2 years ago I had like 150 books to read and I've been working on it since then (I'm a slow reader so it takes time...) and I have like 60 left now. and I'm actually on a ban of buying books, but it's not difficult for me because I don't really buy a lot of books anyway... I bought like 4 in the past 2 years and read them all directly lol. so it didn't add up to the number. and even though I read very different type of books than you (I read more classics) it's fun to watch the videos and encourages me to progress in my goal faster so I can be done and finally get something new. I'll make sure to never have a lot of unread books again lol

Dark romance is such a thin wite to walk. I heard folk talk about Hooked and got excited for a dark peter pan retelling...then read the actual plot. Hes old enough to be her dad and is essentially trying to get with her out of revenge on Peter. Naaaaaaab💀

"The Outsiders" was required reading for me in 5th grade (in the early 90s). We weren't allowed to watch the movie, though. XD I remember INTENSELY disliking it and being very confused as to why everyone else in class was absolutely obsessed with it. 😂

I feel you on putting down books that I'm not in the mood for. Those I classify as TBC (to be continued) rather than DNF. It seems a little harsh to unhaul something when a book is TBC. My suggestion as an alternate: pick another book out of your jar and make yourself read it instead. Love the series! I'm inspired to do the same thing.

You are one of my favorite book tubers and I screamed when you picked the outsiders. The outsiders is my all time favorite book. I read it in 6th grade as required reading and over 20 years later nothing has ever come close to topping it. Just like you tho, there is nothing I can really relate to, and besides the feeling it gives me, I couldn’t say exactly why it’s remained my all time fav. It’s just the feeling I remember it giving me in the moment when I read it for the first time. We were assigned to read the first chapter for school and I read it all that night and was bawling by the end. Every few years I will read it again and it still brings me right back to 6th grade. It’s truly the book that made me want to read more. Reading this gave me such joy and I’ve been chasing that high ever since. I recently learned it’s now on Broadway, and I cannot wait to go see it. The soundtrack is so good. I’m always happy to see people read it for the first time. ❤

So hooked was questionable for me. But it does get better at the end. & Wendy doesn’t go out w hook even tho her “best friend” has been crushing on him. Wendy had no idea who the guy was. The girl was her actual best friend’s friend who was very rude and mean to her. But the guy said his name was James but she only knew the guy that her “friend” liked was named hook
