Hey everybody, Wow, thank you so much for the information. In retrospect, impingement is something I've been dealing with for years. I've always had what feels like a tendon or bone rubbing against another tendon or bone in my shoulder. I had always just assumed that was my anatomy and learned to live with it without much pain or discomfort by avoiding movements that caused those bones or tendons to rub on each other. Over the past year I have really dedicated my time to fixing my shoulders, repairing damage, and strengthening the muscles. By doing so I realized I can restructure the joint and that rubbing of tissue on each other happens less and less. Now that I have seen your video, and others on KZread, I think I finally understand what is going on. All the symptoms of impingement are what I have been dealing with for years. I wanted to leave this comment to thank you for the content, and let others know that it can get better. I am not 100 percent restructured, but I am able to do most movements and activities without pain. If I feel pain I avoid those movements and try to figure out ways to mobilize my joints in that range, so that I can do it without pain. This mobilization is a combination of stretching, strengthening, and ballistic stretching that has made my joint stronger and more flexible. I theorize the reason I have impingement is from decades of improper strength training without focusing much on mobility and flexibility. Our bodies will adapt over time to the demands we place in them, and as a Calisthenics guy and rock climber, I have placed crazy demands in my shoulders. However, this is also great news! Because just like my body adapted in a dysfunctional way, it can be restructured and damage can be reversed. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos doc, so I can add more tools to my repertoire. So to anyone struggling you can get better, but depending on the severity of the impingement it is going to take work on your part to get there. But! You can do it! I have faith in you 🎉

I appreciate your insightful videos so much. Your technique for short term meniscal pain relief was practically a miracle. Wish you worked in my city 😁. I am a massage therapist, very small person with small wrists (+ hands) that sometimes subluxate at the radial-scaphoid joint. My question is, do you have any suggestions for frequently recurring burning pain all around my pisiforms, bilaterally. I would be extremely grateful for any help.Thank you so much for being an anatomy nerd who puts his knowledge out there for the common good. 😄🙏🏻

I feel like I just performed a miracle by using this technique. I recently had terrible pain, inflation and swelling from playing Pickleball. I did this exercise and swelling actually decreased after doing these steps. After others have said I can hug you. Thank you

I really love working out, but it has been impossible for me since I've started having sciatica pain. Tried psychal therapy and pilates and none of them were really effective only giving partial relief. Your exercises apparently are helping me with just a few attempts, that's why I'll keep working more on them. I felt the glutes tight in all of them, but I felt a little of the thighs on the 3rd one. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

This is exactly what I found out was causing my “ meniscus tear” The injury would cause me to be on crutches for about 4 days. Back to work after 1 week. Trouble is that it’s happening too often.

An Interventional Radiologist is offering pudendal nerve cryoablation to treat my severe left scrotal pain. I've had 2 100% successful nerve blocks done at the ischial spine. He wants to do a block at the Alcock's Canal, then treat there. But that's distal to my previous blocks AND to the most common entrapment location for that nerve - the spot where the sacrospinus and sacrotuberous ligaments cross. Apparently all ablation types get done that way. This doesn't make sense to me and I can't talk to this doctor until the day I fly there for the block. What am I missing?
