    I prefer the LT1, if you are leaving the engine stock the LT1 makes more power and gets very good fuel economy.

    It didn't really fit that well, I ended up with a Hurst pro billet shifter and I cut the seat to make it fit.

    That's where I'm at with it I'm doing it in a 79 malibu and wanted to leave the bench seat I was gonna cut and angle my shifter how your did yours I just figured I'd check to see if you found a way or if fabbing is the best option. Love the vieos BTW thanks to you I found sickspeed Monte haha

    Did you use the part that you made along with the pro billet shifter or did you buy the whole kit I'm sorry for the questions I'm just tryna find other people that have done this I'm debating on cutting mine or ordering the complete shifter

    I know this is a old video but the bearing is about 28 dollars did my daughter car took me about a hr it helps putting the bearing in the freezer go ft in just little tapping

    The V8 fits the same as a V6 (assuming you mean 90 degree V6) just a tighter fit between the radiator and water pump
