When I was 18 and going to SCAD, I used to sneak into the bar attached to a Holiday Inn in Savanna, GA. Manic Planet played there all the time! Bought their cd… so glad to see this!! Memories!! 😀

My band played there many times. Got into the bad habit of a big frozen Dreamsicle Daiquiri before and after the gig from the convenient daiquiri bar in the parking lot on warm summer nights. I worked with Manic Planet for 6 months in 1996. One of the two best bands I ever worked with.

What was that shitty KKK imagery? Get that shit outta here, be a real confederate FUCK THE KKK Confederate forever.
@sshanks Жыл бұрын
What Nazis, Confederates, Fascists, Right wing morons, Racists, Conservatives and KKK neo-Nazi supremacist terror groups really are. Authoritarian, ignorant, stupid, ("The South Will Rise Again") dangerous killers too historically ignorant to understand what the Civil War, the first world War, the Second world War were all about. Confederate = death camps, traitors, slave owning, murder, terror, fascist, white supremacist human sacrifice, .....The words and attitude of the song reflect the true nature of the "confederate" way...Anti-American to the core. The KKK rose from the ashes of the Confederacy to continue the fight underground for the next hundred years and they succeeded. The KKK are no longer a real presence but they have morphed into the MAGA, patriot, Q, Tea Party moonbat crowd that are taking advantage of our failing education system to infect and degrade the "American Way"....You missed the point of the video and you will probably never get it.

Holy crap! It IS Sue Shanks! I knew Sue Shanks back BEFORE she wore wild 90's hair & hot, skin-tight leggings! (Why the hell didn't she do that when she was in OUR little studio band??? Unfair!!!) Her brother was the lead singer/sax player. She said the 2 of them used to have "big hair" contests with each other, lol! Her band did a KILLER rockin' version of The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby! Oh, Sue, you still owe me that wrestling match you promised me!

melted - thanks for the kind words. i was the bass player. about a year after this we were playing and lee greenwood sat in with us. he was knocked out by pat dionne, and told her that when his tour was over he wanted her to come to nashville and sing backup on some songs. he did just that. she stayed with him and his family. one night he woke her up and said listen to this new song i have. God Bless The USA. She did some nashville work, and still lives there.
