Thanks for your comment 😉 I think there are one or two other videos of this one with English subtitles but I made mine to add the subtitles of what the crowd is singing. I think it's an important detail to understand that they're singing "We love you" instead of "I love you". But of course, if you're not French, it's not easy to hear the crowd's words clearly. I've made a few other translations of Lara's songs and an enhanced version of the concert you know so well, "From Lara with love". Feel free to have a look 😉

I was privileged to see him perform this IN PERSON when I was a teenager. I was a huge fan, and my birthday gift one year was getting to see David Copperfield when he came to my city. I was able to figure out how he did about 50% of his tricks that evening, because I had gotten into magic and had some books revealing how they are done. But the other 50%, including this metamorphosis trick, had me totally baffled. And even though I now understand how it is done, I'm even more impressed by the insane speed and precision at which it is performed. He and his assistants must have practiced that for hours to have such an amazing and fast switch. Thanks for uploading this video.

I'm 99% sure I know how this illusion is achieved, but I still watch it nearly every day. Despite knowing the method, it's the greatest illusion I've ever seen. They perform it absolutely immaculately, with such skill, that every time I watch it I'm able to suspend my disbelief and just lose myself in the effect. It's the best, quickest switch I've ever seen, so good that I actually gasped the first time I saw it. The Genesis song really adds to the atmosphere and story. What a masterpiece.
