    I wish that manufacturers would put together a "test/training" day. I really struggled last year due to public land pressure and thought that if I had a saddle, I could have adjusted quicker. The amount of options is overwhelming and I just don't have the money to guess on what I will like.

    Hey love the advice, I only have one question. I have a person I talked to that said she would have to talk to her husband about me possibly hunting their property. We did exchanged numbers but i haven't heard from her for a couple days so i just followed up with a quick text asking for an update about the talk with the husband. Do I contact her again or wait for her to give me a text/call saying yes or no?

    @@buckeyebowhunter all most .. had 2 Tom's that I work in to 80 yards , it took over 2 hours because a 30 minute thunderstorm rolled in and they just sat tight after the rain drying them selves.. then they bolted.. Why, ? Because 4 other turkey hunters, like they were hunting pheasants walked right at them . They were gone before the 4 guys saw them . The hunt was ruined.

    Hey Buckeye….how are you liking that G50 a few years in? I “blew up” my G21 on a hunt this December on a late season when my crossbow limb hit when opening on a shot. (Crossbow. Yes- I can’t use a compound due to an injury so please don’t judge.) I was thinking of getting the G40 because of the 1080/60 but was also considering jumping to the G70. I’ve been looking right past the G50 as shooting in 4K, except for the cropping, seems almost overkill for KZread. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

  • @buckeyebowhunter
    @buckeyebowhunter3 ай бұрын

    Nothing wrong with a crossbow! So I upgraded last fall to a mirrorless with bigger lenses just to up the quality. Unfortunately I don’t run the G50 anymore. There isn’t a real noticeable difference imo between 1080 and the 4k the G50 puts out. It’s so limited by the sensor size and lense size I would say go with the g40 cause all your really getting is much larger files with the g50 and storage is expensive. If your looking to up the video quality larger lenses and sensors = better detail and quality especially in low light situations. I’m not too experienced with the g70 but I now shoot with a Sony a7s3. Feel free to PM me on instagram if you have more questions.

    @@buckeyebowhunter thanks for getting back to me Buckeye. You have some real money stuck into that Sony. I did end up with the G40. For now this is going to be my camera for this year and Turkey season along with a Sony ZV1 and my action/ 360 cameras. Does your new Sony have a Lanc remote?
