  The one chord everyone doesn't quite get right in this tune is the first chord of the bridge, you are playing a maj7 but it's a maj7 with a 69 so in this key you also need an E and an A

  Thank you. I'm a guitar player who sometimes attempts to play keys :) Being able to voice 10 notes at a time is a brave new world for us.

  Think of it as a B7sus ( B , E , F# , A ) and then you only have a simple 4 note chord to voice , the bass player will take care of the root or it's easy to plant a G with your left hand, hope that helps 😊

  Yes you are playing the song in the Key or "G" but the video says Key or "D"

  +John Dumke ... retraction...it is in D. The bass player is camped on D for almost the entire song except for the "It's time we come together..." The opening chord is a G...but the song is in D...in this recording. I think it's in Ab on the original...whatever note the bass sits on.
