  You could've brought out the trap card and used that to stall. It would've also protected UAGG against the access code. Though I don't know if he would've ran it over tbh. Haven't been on the channel in a while, but it's good to see you playing my favourite deck! I know it's tricky to get used to but I hope you're having fun at least with it. My only tip so I don't be annoying like some others is just knowing that tangiku can reborn golem and tanker! I think you had one in grave already? But I may be wrong. Going to game 2

  i play branded package it does help if i get handtrapped. Also I took out old man and never drew it, but Old Man can help later on in the game so i play it again in the main. It's just not a card you want to see in your hand unless you bounce it there, bc there's no way to shuffle it back. I think the archetype could've been designed better since it inherently conflicts with itself in so many ways. Old man helps you recycle your ritual spells late game when you have a dead Saffira in hand, and I play a breaker build so what I do is I set up radiance and droplet in backrow, and when old man comes out and they have a monster on board, i can chain old man, and then use droplet to send my own lo to negate their effect, and old man tutors out sauraivis, and then lo triggers to ss itself, and set up blessings. so when they SS i can bounce my own dragon to negate, and then ss him again if I need to with blessings. It also helps with shifter like if they shifter in draw phase and you draw barrier or lo, you can set up a lo with radiance, shuffle and get old man with lo for their turn is pretty good. It is a pretty bricky card though. if the matchup is too fast and you need access to breakers going second then you can definitely side one out. going second you can get away with siding out a barrier too.

  9:58 Kairyu-Shin's effect doesnt apply since there is a field spell on the field and that disables maiden's effect. Maiden really sucks going against a meta where everyone is playing field spells. I cut it out of my deck and considering taking out reef as well. Edit: Disregard what I said before, I see you caught it at the end

  You made some illegal plays - you can’t use both effects of Catapult on the same turn - you can’t summon Chaos Giant off Duel since Duel does not mention AG Golem

  I‘m very interested in the deck profile for Ancient Gear. I‘m playing Ancient Gear with a board breaker approach at the moment with forbidden droplet and the sky striker cards, it works very well and is a lot of fun. In fact Engage + any lvl.4 Ancient Gear monster is „full combo“ aka ballista. Also I‘m not a fan of playing trap cards because you can’t set them anyways (except duel) or lightning storm because you want your opponent to have as many monsters on the field to just run over with chaos giant

  to be fair the branded opening to prevent destruction is not a graveyard effect because it does not activate its a replacement effect that can be done instead of the proper card being destroyed!

  At 23:30 cl1 would be his chimera, CL 2 would be Lo, you would place radiance, then his chimera would resolve destroying 2 cards. You wouldn’t be able to activate radiance in response.

  2 months too late. I've won an OTS Tourney w/ Traptrix, however I relied HEAVILY on Rafflesia. In the vid, the player stated that he barely or never used her. I wonder what he was playing instead? Pinguicula then SS Pudica on opponent's' turn too suck up a monster? Redoer?

  24:04 you can't "chain kisikil" to carrot like that, you have to wait for your opponent's response. You can't chainblock carrot that way, it's an illegal move.
