Wasted my time. Didn't communicate mileage.
It’s a short. Go watch the actual video to see the results. When the short was made we were doing the test. But thanks for watching 👍
lol I literally just watched the short and I said “we will be releasing the video in a week with the results” like you said “wasted my time” yes I did by typing all this.
a honda city diesel could return 103 mpg kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZt10LKwes_Horw.html
Drives a Toyota to save money to buy more stock in tesla 🤦🏻♂️
lol thanks for watching
Very informative and much appreciated
Thank you. I appreciate that. Check out the other videos if you want. Also a brand new one is about to drop. Huge road trip with mpg and experience. Take care
I just bought a 50' charging cable for my Prime. I tried using an extension but I didn't want the converter pack exposed on the ground. Looks neater too.
That’s what we normally do. To be honest I was exhausted and just put it on and walked away in that video
Love it
Tbanks
I do the same
Thanks for watching
The rav 4 prime is one of the best vehicles ever made. Even now days they are hard to find. We do trips all over the east coast, all we do is ask if we can plug in. Almost every hotel says yes. Saves us money or as you said “get something out of the price you paid”
Thanks for watching. I agree with you. Went from an EV to PHEV and I’ll never go back n
Lmfao. Charging a car. CHARGING 😂😂😂
Yes.
“😂 charging a car lmfao” shut the f up. Grow up and go belittle someone else.
What you say makes everyone dumber. May god have mercy on your soul
Wow. Grow up
You look like the type of guy who beats up Prius drivers.
Thanks. I just like saving money lol
Great video! Thanks. Recommendation: - include cost of battery replacement say at 150-200K miles for people who are intend in keep the car for a for long-term. - average cost of insurance for one over the other
Thanks. I’ll make sure to add those
I might be switching back to a plug in hybrid in a few years when I retire. The battery doesn’t cost as much as my model y and it doesn’t take long to refill like the model y I have.
We went from all electric to plug in hybrid. Best decision I’ve made
@@grabagearcolorado has it been cheaper than charging an ev?
@@RyansTechReviews29 it has been and hasn’t been. In town using solar to charge from my house it’s cheaper. But driving long distance is harder to charge. Some hotels will let me plug in and some don’t. Currently doing a 4000 mile road trip and I haven’t been able to charge at all.

Thanks for watching.
I love driving, simple as that. For me the act is extremely cathartic. Very much so. Our 24 Prime can basically drive itself under the right conditions but, I refuse to allow it to. Would you let AI take you for a walk ?
Thanks for watching. I’m not sure how AI would walk me. But I do trust the science behind driving. I’ve personally seen it react quicker than I could. Our 24 Prius Prime does even better than the 23 RAV4 prime.
I've gotten 52 to 53 miles in the 2024 approx 84-86km
It’s a good car
For starters you’re not sure how many times you charged your car. So it’s not exactly “real world”.
😂 ok. Solid info. Thanks
Be very careful with increasing your psi because it can cause the car to lose a lot of control in the wet
True
The thing I was like about the Prius, every generation is the Geekiness of it. A good Geekiness . All the reviews of the new one talk about the same thing. Oh it looks so good. Oh it’s so much quicker. Who cares it’s still a Prius I want to geek out on it. I don’t buy a Prius to try to pretend I’m in a Celica.
😂
damn u suck 💀
No skill vs no skill 😂
Nnahhh
Thanks for your life changing comment. Because of you my life is changed…..you’re a joke. Maybe find something better to do instead of putting people down.
True
Did you have the heat on during the test?
When the car was in Hybrid mode I would turn it on. But not in EV mode
Thanks for sharing, you sold me more on the Prius.
I’m glad I could help
So whats the actual expected MPG or KM/100L? I do 80% hwy driving and 20% on stretches that are 60-70KM/H - not much stop n go. Im debating on getting a Tesla or a Prius for the whole reason fo saving on fuel. I currently spend about $5,000.00/year on fuel in my current gas car. My driving is really predicitable and I do have level 2 charging in my garage so EV could be the right move BUT if the whole point of getting a Tesla to save money and end up spending a fortune on repairs then its not worth it.
Great question and the average mpg of the 2019 model Prius prime was around 55 mpg or 60 mpg. We got on average around 30 miles in all EV mode. For the price the Prius prime is awesome. Especially if you can get one used and cheaper. My only advice with the Tesla is that at least in my area they are offering UNREALISTIC discounts and financing. My offer was 0.99%. If I was going to buy a Tesla I would now. Can’t beat rates like that. I hope I helped you.
When you know your beat you just know lol😅

Why quit? Just play it out lol
I agree

I’m sure I’ll get called “mid ladder menace” 😂
Oh they will
Thanks for sharing, im looking one right now. Theres a youtuber that has 180k miles, but seems to have alot of problem, its a 2018 model.. i think he’s name is SK. He does tutorial on self maintenance.
Nice. They are fantastic cars. Obviously all cars have issues at some point. But I love mine
Thanks for the video. Did you use ECO mode all the time? Or only on the highway?
Thanks for watching. Yes I did eco
I agree with you about that hypermiling being only a short trip… I had a RAV4 Hybrid, and was always upset to have a “small battery”… now I drive a RAV4 PlugIn Hybrid (prime) and I start on EV until the first occasion to surpass 50kmh(30mph)… then I switch to HV for the rest of the trip. I drove 800km with a full tank… thanks for showing the trick with charging downhill… I always tried to keep the foot from gas then, but that charging mode would at least add extra mileage for the next start (to the first time I change to HV). Thanks for the video.
I appreciate you comment. Thank you.
Middladder ah deck
Absolutely right. 😂
I would suggest doing the opposite of what you do, use petrol uphill, EV down, and don't use chargemode. Or... just leave it in hybrid and let the car sort it out.. Any ICE (petrol or diesel) is the most efficient (as far as one can use efficient and ICE in the same sentence...) at high load (around 80-90% load) and low-mid rpm. This is easier done going up than down or flat. The EV-part should be around 80-90% efficient at any speed/load, so doesn't really matter that much how you use it.. In addition, EV going up burns through your battery quicker. This I believe would leave the ICE on for longer time to "catch up".. Goal should be to have the ICE on for as short total time as possible, and have it work fairly hard when it's on.
Thanks for the input.
@@grabagearcolorado no problem :) Thanks for nice content :)
If you have the vehicle plugged in, can you precondition the cabin on shore power?
Yes you can. I did exactly that yesterday morning
Awesome, thanks man!!
Cups? 💀
lol thanks
AYY lets go speaking of that i just hit 8.5k trohies and i was hard stuck 8.3k and what was weird was that i skyrocketed up to 8786k trohies in a day which was really werid but now im hard stuck 8.7k

That’s awesome well done
bruh that's electric.
@@AshikJonathan that’s what I thought
@@grabagearcolorado you thought wrong. It's a hybrid.
@@AshikJonathan it's not electric, it's a 2017 HYBRID IONIQ BLUE just like the Prius. It's not even a plugin hybrid. Maybe do some research.

Thank you. We really appreciate it. It has been a challenge doing this but we are getting better. We are currently working on 3 more 100 day videos. And to be honest they are going to be awesome.
Looking forward to it :D
U both are midladdermenaces
😂 yes. Yes we are.
45 mile range, not 50 miles.
Well i disagree with you. We get over 50 every single day, and on average we get 55 miles. Soooooooo…..yeah over 50.
@@grabagearcolorado what does the display read when it’s fully charged ? 50 miles ? 55 miles ? I can never get mine to read over 45 miles.
