It’s very difficult to date olives accurately. Just measuring the girth of the tree will not give you its age. Olives grow differently in different regions, climates, temperatures and amount of rainwater. I have approximately 200 olive trees in SW Spain, some of which are very large girthwise others have hollowed out, which olives are prone to do.. but experts have informed me that dating them is difficult unless you have documentation to prove when they were planted. I do hope you manage to keep them alive with that dreadful disease.. we are very concerned that it might spread to our region.. which is so far disease free.

WAUW Esther wat een verhaal!! en ik voel je liefde en zorg van het scherm afspatten om de bomen een optimale kans te geven. Wie weet helpt het nog om met de mensen met wie je bent in meditatie (geconcentreerde) liefde naar je land te sturen of naar specifieke bomen (door er bv in een kring omheen te gaan staan) en helingsenergie te visualiseren, met hulp van 'boven' (gidsen, engelen, voorvaderen van dit land...). Warme knuffel voor jou lief mens ♥
