That last one seems hard with the snare and cymbal placement.

Yepp..... that was him! 😢 I remember the first time when we played together! I had so much respect of him, he was already a master at very young age! That was 2002 - I remember that moment for the rest of my life! I truly miss him.....😢

there's actually 2 versions of the Think Break.. before the "yeah wooh part" there's an even more clean break that's often remixed in things like Maggie's Last Party (aka Acid Party) or Punish My Love EDIT: also i decided a new Break for DJ's to use that has not been sampled in anything yet, except for South Park and 3 of my tracks.. the Whamola Break by Primus.. while not really a break music theoretically speaking (it's literally the intro) but functionally, i'd say you can do cool things with it

I spent my drumming life learning these. The one I always struggled with was of course...The Funky Drummer. You may have come the closest I've heard. A lot of people rave about The Amen beat. But that one was one of the simplest to play for me. I think I heard it one time and got it down. That Funky Drummer tho with the way Clyde actually played it with dropping the stick and the stick and allowing it to reverb off the snare before recatching it is just pure genius I've never been able to master.
