I’ve always wondered about NYSC. So what exactly is the purpose? Is it to train the young adults to live in their own, or does it have to do with building communities or government? I’m from America 🇺🇸 so I wouldn’t be very familiar with it, other than what I have seen on YT and Nollywood movies.
National youth service corps (NYSC) is a one year program that involves serving the nation at any of the Nigerian state you are posted to serve. It involves the training of youth in vocational and work skills. The main purpose of nysc is to create relationships among youth from different backgrounds.
