Thanks for the comment! It's been a long while since I tried these sites, but I still have this ship :) Did you have a micro jump drive that could have let you escape from the NPCs? I don't know if any of the balance changes made by CCP mean my fit doesn't work any more, or is even allowed any more. One day I'll find out!

proof positive that at great song doesn't need studio FX to sound great. This might be my favorite version. I've been lucky enough to have seen Neil many times over the years, solo, with Tim and w/ Crowdies. He is such a charming person in addition to the great music.Ya know I'm glad he's gonna make make bank with this FleetwoodMac tour. He deserves it.

I have a question. Do you just keep declining missions until you get the mission you want? What are the consequences of doing that if so? Also, how many missions are you doing an hour and what are the LP rewards per mission? Really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting it!
@sirenbrian6 жыл бұрын
Sorry, didn't see this question. I decline the first offer if I don't like it, then accept the second if I like it. The consequence for declining the second mission is a small loss in standings. As long as your standings remain high I guess it's not a big deal to suffer that penalty if you want a third or fourth attempt. When your side is at Tier 3 its about 50,000 LP per mission. That'll get you at least 50M isk (1000 isk per LP). I proceed veerrrry cautiously with missions, 'cos I'm a cheapskate. I only accept two: Cutting the Net and Dead Men Tell No Tale. The increased travel time means I do about 2 or 3 per hour, depending on location. But a proper mission runner will accept many more missions. It takes about 20-25 minutes to do a circuit around the many FW agents, then a few hours to run all the missions they took. But they're using more expensive, powerful ships than my penny-pinching ways allow for. I live in a FW agent station, so my daily habit is make two attempts to ask the agent for a mission. If I get one I like AND the location is close by I'll take it and run it. If not, I'll ACCEPT the second mission anyway, then I will fail to complete it and I get to ask again in 12 hours time. If I didn't accept it I'd have to way days to ask again. There is no consequence to NOT completing a mission. There IS a consequence for quitting the mission. You can accept it, let it time out, then try again. I have a 2 in 5 chance of getting one of the missions I want, so it's a more "casual missioning" kind of arrangement.

I've always been told that you can't solo Gallente missions in a bomber, what changed?
@sirenbrian8 жыл бұрын
I think it's good general rule, this is just an exception. Maybe the ability to successfully avoid jamming using a small ship has been buffed lately, with tiericide? For this particular mission, I actually have a midslot going spare - the target painter doesn't help kill the tower, so it could be replaced with something else, maybe a shield. I have recorded my attempts to use this fit to do Uproot, The Reprisal, Cost of Hubris and how they failed. Generally it happens because I can't get near the target(s) before the rats start hitting me in large numbers. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Vb2ijf_jLs0zNQQl24xIF83XIy5T0XzLBdWHIduJPsk/edit#gid=0
@sirenbrian8 жыл бұрын
Also (follow-up point), you can easily do The Reprisal with two of this ship. It takes about 7 or 8 volleys from each bomber and the target is dead.
@sirenbrian6 жыл бұрын
I also use a clone with Low Grade Spur implants, to lesse the chances of getting jammed. I usually suffer no jams, but sometimes one gets through. If two or more land I find I can't kill the target on the first attempt and need to leave, rep up and reenter to try again.
