I have the same machine. I tried to do the doner kebab recipe included in the box. My main problem was cutting the meat. Once I cut the first outer cut which looked really nice, the inner meat didn't look great. Was that perhaps my knife wasn't sharp enough? How was it for you, did you buy a better knife in the end? Thanks

Hey. No I used the meater probe to cook to temp. In my description I think I put the weight and time which should help as a guide. From memory it cooked at lot faster than I hoped. Good luck

I didnt as I wanted to test it was is out of the bag. No seasoning either. It was delicious. I am going to do a brined version in the future to compare. Don't forget to leave it on for 20 mins or so. (See instruction booklet) to smoke off the machine oil etc before your maiden cook. I love the machine

I really want it for the Rotisserie Chicken, I usually try and get one from M&S or Sainsburys so I was hoping this may be a way to get one that makes something close to it, have you had a shop rotisserie chicken and how does it compare to the one you made on another video?

@@wanderdutts4584 I have only done the chicken plain. No seasoning or nowt so from a skin perspective it was tasty but not shop bought tasty if that makes sense . That said the bird itself in the 3 times of doing was super super moist. I am going to try brining in the future to see how that goes.

I've used it twice. Crush seemed to work ok . I don't like the aluminium hopper . It bent out of shape whilst I was trying to clean it so I had to fix it with a hammer.

To keep the grain hull intact and improve flow, try conditioning your grain with 2% water based on grain weight. Spray it on the malt with a spray bottle, leave it for 10 minutes and mill. This will allow you to keep a small roll gap and still avoid a stuck sparge

I've heard/ read about this technique and I may try this in a future brew . Cheers . To be fair I changed the roller size by if say a quater way to the next roller marking and got a better crush and fast flow. Efficiency at about 75% . A point on design of the mill if you are interested is that the hopper is flimsy and bent at the screws very easily when I was dusting it down

Slow to be fair . So I gave it a stir in the grainfather which sped up the sparge . Was only 2points out of desired og. I will move it up to the next measurement on the next brew

Has the ITC 308 probe held up? It only has an IP68 rating. Submerge for 30min only and doest specify hot liquids on the plastic wire
