Fun fact: the Donovans will not only use their uppercut as an anti-air move, they also use it as an anti-grab! As a Floyd/Max main, I slowly die inside every time I fail a walk up grab and get launched into orbit.

Oh my God I wish I was playing this in the older versions. Koobo used to cause ALL weapons to telekenesis on you? That's crazy! I think it's limited to 2 or 3 now per use of telekinesis. Side note, your SoR4 videos are truly entertaining. Thank you!

Recycled game overpowered ai limited choices for player terrible buddies armor guns bosses used as basic enemies ai movement stop's your attack people jump and fly across screen rolling can't hurt the enemy characters are great if you don't play as them bad weapon swing for most people ai total freedom protection this games choice's are flat with going backwards then forward.

Mr X was the *Big Bad OG* who *came very close* (even after getting bodied twice over in SoR's 1 & 2 before he became a living brain in a jar in SoR3 & got bodied even more badly again for good) to succeeding his main goal of global domination by *nuking NYC* into oblivion. had he *not gotten interfered* by Axel & co in stopping him *3 seperate times over back to back* after the close of SoR3 & even SoR RM's game (given as how that game tied in w/ that 1 as well) turns out in the end that Mr X *actually succeeded* on his overall goal & completed it. since NYC became a wasteland crator but also got it's overall population *fully annihilated at it's epiccenter* once the bombs (over 20 or so in total that he made & planted all over the regional map *before* our heroes showed up to stop him at his lab & he dispatched Robot Y as his final trump card in stopping the heroes might add) thus causing our heroes to mostly move to New Oak City (mostly located in Chinatown btw) & start anew. 😐

SoR 4 was good but it had way too many issues with the story. at least the older games did a better job of sticking to the story they presented without throwing random BS into it

To be fair, it was never meant to have a story other than "mean people take over city". But yeah, the story of this game is simple and quite...silly. I've seen worse. I think if it were more grounded like "Y Twins take over city for political power, or turning it into a organized crime central like a mob " then yeah. But the mind control stuff. Eh...not sure what the end game would be. Still funny though!

I am so unglad that Mona and Lisa made a return, and that the throws were replaced with kicks. In SoR1, they always bodied me right before Mr. X, and then I had 1 life left. Then I saw them in SoR3, and screamed… if it wasn’t night and no one was asleep. Then they came into SoR4, and no one was asleep, so I actually was allowed to scream. Man, did I scream my ASS off. What is wrong with Mr. X!? Then again, he is trying to take over the universe at all costs.

Fun Fact: On any difficulty, if only the mech is left, with no twin on the ground, you can stay in the bottom left eternally. You won’t even take damage. It works on all difficulties.

On the Nintendo Switch, they updated the game, so that you can no longer use your charge attach to defeat the blueberry, shield foot soldiers. It makes them more annoying. I'm not sure if they did this on every platform.

I finally beat arcade mode on gnarly, without losing a life. I just did it tonight with Michelangelo. With Michelangelo, the black sai throwing foot soldiers are the hardest to beat. The only way I can beat them, is by head butting then backwards, and then dodging backwards out of the throwing range. If I get in a lucky position, I can drill attack them upwards. If I head butt them, and then dodge forward, they quickly slash me at close range. Michelangelo seems to be the character that struggles with them the most. They're cake easy with Casey Jones.

I love this guide. It’s not just the good comedy, but how you give consistent ways to dodge each individual enemy, unlike most tutorials, which are, “just dodge”.

Once the Y twins took over the government, Diva got released and changed her government name to Diva in order to hide her identity. The only name Adam knows her by is Evelyn. Once Adam found out that Diva left their newborn Cherry behind and moved out of the house to live a new life with the syndicate, he wanted nothing to do with Diva ever again. So Cherry had no idea that they beat up her own mother and Adam will never know about that.
