  i got my mom into matchbox 20 when she had normally hated all rock or anything not country but she loved this song and i did too. it wasnt until after she passed from cancer that i found out rob thomas wrote this song about his experience as a teen dealing with his mom's cancer. im not explaining this very well but one night during my mom's chemo and shit she was up late at night and decided to shave her head just to get it over with and then she came to my room to show me very late at night. i was shocked at her baldness and she just laughed. i will miss my mom for every day for the rest of my life.

  one of my all time favs... I listen to it many times a day when I listen to Matchbox. There's just something about his voice in this song. And, it takes me back to 2000 when my husband and I were coming back to Texas from Little Rock. My husband has been gone for 12yrs. now. Maybe that's why I listen to it so many times. Remembering the time I had with him, the love, the fun, the memories.
