  I did like it. Even though the portions are small, they are filling. Honestly I didn’t ask if you can just show up and sit at the bar, but I don’t see why they would turn you away IF there’s space.

  Kibi Kibi was delicious! It also had breakfast (as of November 2023) and if you order room service in artistas casa it was from the kibi kibi kitchen

  Would you recommend the México or Arte side? We are planning a wedding and will have about 20-25 people all adults. We have stayed at both and loved the roof top pools in Arte but really enjoyed the Catina los Faroles at night and that made it very hard when we stayed at Arte.

  Why don’t you guys stay in the Mexico side and book Casa Fuego. That casa/building is more private and it’s for adults only. It’s the only Casa with a rooftop pool over at XCaret Mexico. Pool overlooks the ocean. I have a video of that Casa on my channel titled “Casa Fuego” check it out friend 🥰

  Great restaurant choices. Glad you went to both Du Monde and Cafe Beignet. I prefer cafe beignet, but to each their own. The eternal battle continues, lol. Taking the steamboat in April/May or so, will get you an amazing sunset over the river. Funny you didnt want a haunted place to stay. A lot of people will pay extra specifically to stay in a haunted place!

  Luckily there were no parades the weekend we were there, so we had no issues with traffic. If you’re staying at the French quarter everything (except plantation tours) are walking distance.

  Tip is already included with your stay, but it’s really up to you. If you have lots of bags and you see the bell boy huffing and puffing when they get to your room, I would tip them. If your bartender at the pool goes above and beyond I would tip as well.

  Hi, I was there Dec. 15-18 so mid month. The weather is cold and so are the pools, but if we have a bit of sun people take advantage. Most of the time we were in the jacuzzi and so we’re other hotel guests. . It will definitely be cold on Dec. 30.
