Great boat, Preston. Not sure if you remember me, I bought a 2005 SN 206 from you years ago. It’s been a beyond-wonderful boat. You also found me a small seat and AI keep it behind the driver’s seat instead of centered between passenger and driver’s seat. Works well and lets people move between the bow and rest of the boat well. Thanks to you again for all you did as I bought my boat from you. I still tell people here (I’m now in Miami rather than Chicago) just how great my experience was and how helpful all of you were.

This boat was the neighbors boat for a little while, and man does it look good on the water. Nautique has to bring back the purple ASAP.
My dad has one. I was fuelling it up last night and a passerby was asking me about the boat. We have lots more scratches from various kids and grandkids learning to dock. We need to reupholster our seats, all of them. As of this morning, the engine dies after about half throttle. I swear every year there is a little problem (like I can fix it myself) with the engine. It's annoying as heck cause the nearest city is an hour away for parts. 750 hours for anyone curious. We are the second owners, bought used at 30 hours in about 2014.

Proof that Sangers hold up better than most over time. Combined with their fitNfinish, build quality, QC, and stupid good fiberglass and gel coat = why spend more for bells and whistles then reduce reliability.

Yes. It’s a real heart breaker finding errors after posting.
How is bow spray when surfing in wind? How easy is it to stuff the bow on a return to a rider? Does this get wash into the boat when fully ballasted and coming to a stop? These are all problems I experience on my 2018 g23. I’ve learned how to avoid these but you can’t say it’s not an issue with an inexperienced driver.
The bow spray is almost stamped out because of the hull cut on the chine. You can notice on the drone shot how low the spray is being broke off the running surface. Stern rooster coming in the boat. Things a by product of displacing a massive amount of water to create a wake or wave. A technique that works for me is - When throttling down a wheel input left or right will cause the boat to get out of the way of the rooster tail following the boat. My .02

Of course! The stereo is just as amazing as ever. No real changes outside of the location of the wake sub. You'd be hard pressed to notice a difference in sound, but the extra storage from the relocation is a plus.
It was well loved and wiped down after every use! 😊

Great video! The surfing fuel consumption was 13.75-14.5 with the ZZ8 in this Paragon. Any idea how the surf fuel consumption would compare to a G23 with the 450HP ZZ6? Thanks for the awesome review.
It's north of 16GPH on the G23. That said, we were running supplemental ballast on the G23, so it was ultimately a heavier setup than this specific Paragon. I grew up on an 87 Prostar there is not a boat in this world that is more fun. If you're a slalom skier it doesn't get better. Then talk a bout joy ride. It turns like jet ski. Want to 180 hit 44mph then hard turn and throw in neutral, you'll have wall of water coming to soak those sitting in the back. 360 but it in reverse you'll power out it. That boat is so much much. It's an old muscle car on the water

Wow that's quick. Not as fast as I'd thought, so you must be running a power prop. My much heavier boat with a 305 will do 50mph with no weight on board, and 47mph with 5 people on board. Having lots of carb problems with mine though, which is why I'm here.
