I just subscribed! I will answer to join in on the fun, but giving a warning I’m like Brand new! (Like April of this year!) So it’s going to be very boring! 😂 I too have no one to talk to about how much I’ve been loving being in my Bible my family looks at my like im crazy 😢so im excited that I found your page!! Here it goes… 1. I have 4 Bibles- I would keep my girls life application study bible NLT because it’s the First bible I purchased for myself years ago when I thought I would get into it but never did. 😅 but now I have been. I use this one for reading, studying etc. 2. I Have NLT, NIV and ESV translations 3. I use NLT to read and study and ESV to study 4. I read and study at the same time. I have bible study’s from daily grace co in Esv and cross way journal books in esv I study in but will also read my NLT while studying too. 5. Right now I NEED bible tabs… we will see as I grow in my journey how I feel about them, but they are also really cute! IMO 6. I prefer leather like, or leather but that is kind of pricey. 7. While since I’m new and the one that’s been the best for me so far has been the TYNDALE girls life application study Bible. I’d say that one. Lol 8. I’m more of a highlighter with minimal pen use so far 9. I do no have different commentaries. (Which ones do you have?) 10. I have a Bible bag that stays in car for church so it’s always in there and ready for when we go to service 11. I’m not sure, never had one yet. 12. I’d have to say purple. Because 2 are purple lol one was gifted. I have one pink and one blue. 13. I would say a journal bible- maybe inspire- and a KJV translation because thats what my pastor preaches in at church and I would love to follow along in the Same translation. 14. I have two bibles from tyndale so I’m going to go with that 🤷♀️😂 I have one from zondervan and one from crossway as well 15. Not yet 😅 16. How many bibles are in your collect? Which ones do you own? Sorry if this will be a long list! I will add my 4 I guess to make it fair. Lol 1- NLT girls life application study Bible 2- NIV Journal the word bible for women (I use this one at church right now).. didn’t realize it was a journaling bible! 😂 3- Esv Compact crossway bible (gifted to make a prayer Bible) 4- NLT compact TYNDALE bible Thanks for letting this newbie join in on the fun! ❤

Thanks for doing the tag! I agree with you that NLT is good for reading and ESV is good for studying. Thought for thought translations are just easier to read. Bible tabs are a fun way to dress Bibles. Tapping into the creative side of things. For Commentaries I have 3 (Tony Evans, Moody and the Bible Knowledge) and I would recommend all 3 of them 💖. 💜💗purple and pink are my jam! Holman publishing has a really nice KJV study Bible thats not huge that I would recommend for you to take to church, its on lifeway.com in the clearance section the last time I checked.

Thank you! 🤗. I feel off when I miss a day of reading the Holy Word (Like I missed a meal). The nail polish is OPI nail lacquer in the shade “crawfishin for a compliment” with a glossy clear polish on top

I need to try out this format to keep it simple. I had tried to do the study guides from Daily Grace co but I couldn't. Then I came across that they associate themselves with false teachers from IF Gathering which they shared on their IG page so I feel their teachings in their books can't be trusted. I threw all I had of them in the garbage. I just want to stick to the Bible and read and go in deeper on the days I have more time or want to switch it up. Tfs. May the Lord continue to give you strength as you seek Him during this difficult time. Btw, Psalm 119 is one of my fave chapter of the Bible.
👀 oh no, Daily Grace Co. associates with false teachers, I definitely need to look into thus because I have so many of their study guide resources. I definitely agree that my method is a simple way of getting more than just reading alone daily but not too much to take the place of deeper study. Girl…. Psalm 119 is soooooo good!

Charles Stanley I love his stuff. Were you talking about his monthly Intouch devotionals or his devotional books? I get the monthly and use it daily for scripture writing. His hard books I seem to collect like you. (Wink) Good luck on your job hunt. Hopefully you find what you are looking for.
I love Charles Stanley stuff too! I enrolled in his free institute but I need to go print off the lessons to move forward. I hoard his monthly devotional and really need to use them because its very useful information.
@@natishanloves I have to say they are very good. Sometimes, I am like what, but mostly he does a quick little teaching (real stuff, no fluff) in each one. Uggg the Institute. I so want to sign up, but am telling myself to stay focused. I am a few months away from finishing this year’s chronological read, then I will sign up for 1 or more of those classes. There is so much good stuff out there.

So what you are saying is you savor your books. (Wink) This year so far I have read the Charles Stanley Bible Series they are short study/ lessons on topics like prayer. I read 12 Extraordinary Women, and the Great Disappearance. Last night I started my next read ..Beth Moore’s Breaking Free.

@@natishanloves just the ones I listed above. So only 3 books, but 12 ish bible studies. I am reading the Bible chronologically so as I get to a book, I sometimes add a study. I did John, James and Galatians, in addition to Charles Stanley series. In another week I will be at 2 Timothy. For that I have Beth Moores Entrusted. Breaking Free is an easy read so far. I just read a chapter before I go to bed. These are my first reads of hers (read I got them at discount), so I may get more.

Thank you for sharing! I remember my first inductive study and you're right, it takes time to grasp because there's alot to take in. Starting with smaller books of the bible helps and are not so overwhelming. A few other things I found helpful was to use pencil on the first mark ups. Also create a symbol key chart for key words. If you can make a copy of the observation chart so you want have to flip back and forth. Just take your time and enjoy the discovers along the way. 😊

Finally! Someone brave enough to try the inductive method on KZread 😊 3 hints that helped me and might help you as well. 1. Make a cheat sheet of the color and symbol guide. It helps keep your map closer to where you are studying. 2. I agree that there is a lot to take in and attempt to accomplish. I've been inductive studying for over 20 years. Even if the bible I'm using is not the inductive bible. It will become second nature. Lol, really, it will. 3. This inductive method is not the final word on finding the perfect study method. You can add different symbols or remove some. For instance, I use a pink circle to mark references of weight, volume, or totality of something. Such as all, also, many, 40 days. We read fast because we were taught how to skip over words, but in God's word, all is all. It's enlightening to see things we might be missing if we are merely skimming the Word. Be blessed, and keep doing this type of studying. You will look forward to it, more and more & you will grow expeditiously !
My Brain was still in overdrive after recording this video and then I jus noticed now that I did the wrong verses to the intro that I read so I will have to redo it next week but by then hopefully it’s more of an easier flow. This method definitely gets the mind working in a completely different way. Thanks for the tips with making a cheat sheet and I should have that ready for when I do a redo video.

What Bible is that?
Its the Courage for Life Study Bible for women. Its not a normal verse by verse commentary study Bible but more like an S.o.a.p method study to a chapter on each page. I have a video of the over of the Bible if you need to see more.
I’ve been obsessively watching Bible collection videos as I’m preparing to get a new Bible after finishing reading through an entire Bible cover to cover for the first time in my faith journey. I love learning about all the different bibles in everyone’s collection videos and how some of their testimonies come out along the way. Anyway. The youth. The younger generation, I love them sooo much. I am a youth leader (helper) in my church and the middle school/high school group has my heart. We are actually about to start a youth lead service on 5th Sundays and in preparation for that I am starting a Bible study with those that are involved. I think getting us all synced and in fellowship with each other AND the Lord will set things up to prosper. We are nothing without Him and if we are planning on leading a Spirit filled service we need to really water the seeds and learn how to get ourselves out of the way and be obedient. As far as the Bible’s, I’d be ecstatic with either but if I had to pick I’d choose Tony Evan’s first and then Apologetics second but either would be a blessing. ❤
What a blessing with completing the Bible cover to cover, its a wonderful feeling! I like different translations for reading the word compared to studying the word. I loved reading your response to the younger generation question and you are so right about watering the seeds and letting God do His work! God Bless your journey with working with the younger generation.
