  I don’t know what he’d think of our truncation if it, lol. We’ve just been listening and watching videos of his versions of it. I love the original 1983 with him on piano and Knopler on guitar, but also the video from the Scorcese awards concert where he just sings it, voice super low and doesn’t play guitar. We wonder if he chose to do it so he could sing the line about power and greed and corruptible seed to a room full of Hollywood bigwigs.

  It actually never happened, he never said that. The US never offered him a ride and why would they, really, it should be expected that the president stays with his people. Especially since zelensky's plan was to give Ukraine over to russia without any fighting. This russian "special operation" started back when they came up with the TV series "servant of the people" which zombified most of the country into believing that this absolutely inexperienced, super corrupt, pro-russian, anti-Ukrainian in fact, clown is the best thing that ever happened to us. Not everything that glitters is gold, guys. Not everybody who sounds like a hero is an actual hero
